We protect our own

We all waited with the others to see how Jake was doing. But until we were told we could go in and give him the potion or cure or whatever we kept our distance. Dad had to reset the bones to make them heal correctly and at least Jess was in there to make sure it wouldn't be as painful but we can't take all the pain away. Though with the blood it should heal him just fine. Whether he wants it or not. He'll want it believe me he will but under a different circumstance. Vampire blood is said to heal which is what's going to help heal him from this but if he knew that's what he was drinking he wouldn't want to take it though it will taste so good. I felt like we were having a starring contest with the other wolves. We had tried our best to not make the vision come true. Leah was still upset at Jake for getting in the way but Paul warned her to stop it. Dad Jess and Sam were all in there currently. The rest of our group plus Bella would go in once they came out. They knew he'd want to see us and Sam was in charge but Billy would make sure he didn't give us grief. He knew how much we meant to his son.

When the 3 of them came out Carlisle told us all the worst was over. And Billy and Sam confirmed we could go see him that this was bigger than us and the treaty he saw that now. He wanted things to go back to the way they were. Like when he was a kid. Wanted the two of them to get along again and for us all to be getting along like the two of them Edward and Sam did for the sake of Jake. Edward agreed he wanted nothing than that as well. Carlisle handed us the vial of Edward's blood told Jessica to use it for the drip he set up put it on a loop so that he keeps getting it into his system one way or another we might not have that much but he shouldn't need that much. We need him to take it so it can't even remotely look like it's blood. We don't need him to ask questions. If he knew he was taking his best friend's blood he'd rather sit there and suffer. This is more than I'd wish on anyone. Billy of course thanked him for always being there for his boy. We cut in to say that we protect our own. Billy slowly nodded along side of us. Everyone knew we considered his son to be one of us. He got over it a long time ago. Wanted what was best for him.

And at least something good came out of any of this. Jade you are getting your old friend back. Yeah maybe. From a potion I made a potion my mother gave us from something Carlisle gave us and Jess mixed it up altogether for one single potion. She's in hyper sleep now and our father will take very good care of her. Fingers crossed she'll come back to us and be my friend again. I know she will just like I know we can help our friend get better as well. I know you don't want my son to know what he's taking to spare any emotional or mental damage I guess. But can I ask? Of course. As we know it is said by legend and we have the proof for centuries that it works. So it's like duct tape. A vampire's blood is the cure all for practically everything. I see. And I'm willing to guess that the cure is said vampire blood that will have my boy back to being as good as new? And I'm guessing though the rest of your children have warmed up to my boy and also consider him family but I'm guessing R.S. has a part to play in this. And of the 4 of them one of them is in there one is not a vampire and I'm guessing it's best to use a pure blood's vampire blood so Edward thank you. It is my pleasure as is the rest of us or any of us. For the record while you are correct any one of us would've done the same.

Go on in you know he wants to see you guys. Though when we went in and Bella and Jess kneeled down to his level of course he was a bit annoyed with us for trying to move carefully and slowly. Guys please don't do this he groaned out. A tired smile on his face. Some things never chance do they Jordan? Edward started. I know that was both really stupid and brave of me. And I'm guessing you guys think mostly stupid and that this was something Alice saw and I know you tried to avoid but once again I can't help but be stubborn. You're a born leader you will do anything to help even if you get hurt or sometimes get killed. Don't he *sighs* taking a deep breath shutting his eyes letting out a groan. Just tell me our actions weren't in vain. Come on guys did we get Victoria where is she? Jess mixed a potion with the 3 we had and she's in hyper sleep in Carlisle's office. Fingers crossed she'll wake up on our side and Jade's BFF again and Carlisle will take good care of her. But for now your friends and family will take care of you whether you want us to or not. Yeah your dad gave me this drip thing in my hand gave me some morphine but it won't last long with how my body temp is but there's nothing the drip itself. What is that stuff you guys wanna give me?
