The bright rays of the sun entered the room causing the male to flutter his eyes in irritation and the ache in his body making him groan while waking up.

Looking at the time, he sighed knowing he has to wake up and probably the girl that laid so peacefully on her bed has to do the same. Scoffing slightly under his breath, he got up.

The memories of the last night still fresh on his mind, one question, why? Why did she push him away. Why does always push his love and affection away. Every time she does, he wants to slit her hands away, the ones she uses to push him away. But for god's sake, he had good self control and a good state of mind too. He thought so.

Getting up, not caring to be slow or silent while doing so. He went to Eun, who laid there with a face, so peaceful and angelic but not so comfortable, her eyes reflected the stress and pain she went through. Fragile girl, Han thought to himself with a silent chuckle. Never witnessed a murder before, so it's normal. He convinced himself and shook his head.

As if it became a morning routine of his, he leaned down to place a gentle kiss on her forehead. No matter what she does, at the end, she was his muse. He could never, ever have her go away from him. He craved love, the love that only she could give but hesitated, always trying to convince that this will change. It will change. But, it never did. Not even an ounce, every time he wanted to be the hero of her story it turns out he will always be the villain she despises. Was he that level of a monster?.

These thoughts would make him want to strangle her right there, to watch her struggle for air and like a fish in a bait trying to escape. He wanted her to feel the same amount of suffering his heart felt but again..he wanted to control himself for once, he didn't want to repeat the past no matter what. But will he hesitate to repeat it, if needed? No.

All these thoughts, disappeared like the dark rain clouds once he heard her whimper in her sleep and move slightly trying to get adjusted to the pain and ache too while waking up. She rubbed her hands slowly and opened the pair of vulnerable looking eyes that tempted right at his.

"Morning" He cooed in a deep sarcastic manner.

"Good morning.." she mumbled, replying and having the past night events partially out of her mind earning a light chuckle from him.

"What's so good in this morning? Your face? I would rather say no to that too today..you look ruined with those bruises" He said, sarcasm dripping from his tongue today causing her to arch her eyebrows in confusion.

"Why are you so- cocky this morning? What happened?" She said, in her sleepy voice and with an interrupted yawn. "Did anything happen-" she said causing him to look at her dead in the eyes, enough for her to stop with her words and gulp.

"You have Alzheimer's?" Han said with a tsk "Or a brain that can't remember shit that just happened last night". Eun, taken back by his sudden change in voice now made her blink and try to recall.

Her eyes slightly change to a fear yet guilty one now after the memories came back flooding making her sigh. "Look-k i- i apologise..it wasn't meant to be ok- I am so sorry-"

Han slammed the nightstand, causing the night lamp to tremble. "Stop with your goddamn apologies, just say you didn't want that kiss and finish this off"

Now Eun became silent, her head hung low in guilt. "What happened? Cat got your tongue hm?" Han mocked at her and laughed, the laugh that causes her to shiver each time. "Knew it, you don't have an explanation nor a justification for your actions, I knew it!" He said more like yelling and ran his fingers through his tangled locks.

"You know what, let's get over this. Get up and get ready for class. You don't need my protection anymore as that jackass is gone from your life forever" Han said with a deep frustrated sigh. "But if- you need me..just call me, I will be there..ok? If someone asks about Yuta, say you have no clue I'll handle it" Han said, lowering his voice slightly and mad at himself for how easily he gets soft towards her.

Eun, being dumbfounded just nodded to whatever he said and got up. Han was ready to catch her if she needed any help as she clearly struggled with standing and immediately held her arms as if she was a fragile doll.

"Eun- i- i advise you to rest, i mean not go to class and just rest for today, i i will handle everything in class and uni" Han said, his voice and expression changing immediately to a worried one seeing her in pain, his heart ached. "Don't worry, stay home and rest-" he said and assured her.

Eun nodded and sat back on the bed with a sigh, thinking how she was being bothersome for him. "It's ok Han..you go, you'll be late I'll manage it here and will take a day off" she said thinking if she went to class anyways, it will spark more controversies which she obviously didn't want.

Han nodded with a sigh of relief when she agreed to rest. He gave her some shoulder pats before going to the bathroom to take a bath and even arranged some of her things in there to make it easy for her to grab them when taking a bath without much movement. After being done, he came out and for someone who didn't eat breakfast most of the time, made one today, for her. Hot and fresh soup with some packet garlic bread that was in the kitchen drawer.
