"Where are you taking me Aureliano?" I asked as I stared through the darkness of the cave, at first I thought he was finally taking me to the tribe but surprisingly that wasn't the case.
He took the same trail that he took the night when he was going to the tribe but instead of exiting through the water fall, he strolled through another tunnel that was to the left hand side of the waterfall.
We have been walking for at least twenty minutes now, my eyes scan the area in alertness, crickets Intune with the night and I helplessly listen, thankful for the great distraction that Aureliano is doing as I mourn my mother.
"A safe space that always eased me mentally whenever I felt like the world is too much to handle." He spoke over his shoulders as he led the way, he held up the lantern which flickers a soft glow of golden light that flows across the stony walls.
I stared him over as my chest warmed for him. He was so considerate; it was way passed what I thought about him the first time that I met him.
His father thought wrong about him, Achille told me that his son was brutally cold-hearted and based on my observation for the past three weeks that we have been wrapping as friends, he was everything but brutal.
I cared about him.
The thought of him getting hurt, squeezed my heart muscles.
I stared down at my knee that lacked the swelling and pain, I've been walking properly on it now and it was all thanks to him...
"Thank you, Aureliano for everything that you have done for me. A mean, you could have killed me the very first night when you saw me, you could have killed me the very moment when I told you that I was Achille's assassin but you didn't.... you're too good of a friend."
"I'm just only a friend to you huh, fine I'll stay right in that friend zone, it's no issue..."
He rolled the word friend and I shivered. "Maybe if you weren't such a handsome brute, I'd reconsider."
We walked until he took a sharp left which had an open entrance which was dark, he paused and looked over at me over his shoulders, his lips curving up into a smirk.
He out the lantern and placed it down on the ground.
"So you're saying that the reason why you won't date me is because I'm too handsome?" His laugh was so genuine that it echoed deeply against the walls.
It was so beautiful that it brought on a soft smile to my lips.
"Yes, yes that is what I'm implying."
He shook his head then turn on his heels and walk into the entrance, I trust him enough to follow even though the dark surrounding looked a bit eerie.
As we entered, a gasp flew passed my lips as I stared around the cave in awe. Blue soft lighting glowed from above the rocky ceiling. It had countless dots of glimmering blues that flooded both of our frames as we walked further into the room.
"Oh my God.."
"This is so unbelievable..." I spin around, staring up at the ceiling, as the lights flickers into my gaze.
He chuckled. "Those are what you call glow worms, they only glow during the night."
"Really, damn, I would never had thought that this would exist, never." I stared in disbelief. I wrapped a hand around my waist and stared over at him as he came up to my side, his forearm touching my shoulder. His tall height hovering above me as he also stared up at them, the protrusion in his neck drop up and down as he parted his lips.
"You can add this moment to be one of the best exploring missions you've ever investigate...right?"
His long eyelashes lowered down at me and I bit my bottom lip as his eyes illuminate within the dark blue lights from the stony area.
"Of course it is..." I breathlessly spoke.
"And it would have been impossible if I wasn't by your side." He rolled his bottom lips into his mouth and bit the flesh, the don raised a hand and grip his white strands while he kept his gaze steady on mine.
"Of course you'd say something like that." I snickered.
He went around me and step up into me from behind, my system weakens in his body heat that soaks me as his chest pressed in the back of my head, both hands of his now holding on my waist.
I could literally feel his every heart beat on the back of my head.
"What do you consider your love language?" I turn in his arms, staring up at him as he lower his head.
He held both sides of my face and lowered his voice to a rough octave. "I've never fell in love before but if I was to love someone, I think I'd want to know every inch..." he trail his finger down the side of my jaw.
"Every core, spend my every living moment staring deep into their eyes, to get familiar with the warmness it expels, the anger it shows, the joy it creates..." His dark blue irises expanded slowly which each word and it parted my lips.
His face was soaked into the glowing blueness that stretches across the cave.
They were witness to his wide jawline that was thick with a white neat beard.
"So that I could fall in love with the real her, the real expression showed by her inner beauty because trust me darling..."

I envelope deep into his body heat, my heart racing in an insane rate that ripped away my breath the longer I stared into his eyes.
The longer I stared, the longer I lowered my walls and showed him the amount of care I had towards him as I let my stare do the talking.
Without knowing it, we drew our faces close, his warm breath and the coconut scent from his hair tightens my core and I helplessly wrap a hand around his neck to pulled him down towards me.
My eyes fluttered shut as he covered his lips over mine, we slowly parted our lips, sucking in each other breaths until it shuddered me against his frame.
He squeezed my jaw and pulled my head firmly to his face, our lips in a firm hold as we kissed.
It shot instant heat across my skin and I moaned along with the deep groan vibrating from his chest...
