Ch. 2

Waiting for the teacher, I take out my books for first period and flip through the pages to get a good understanding before class. I'd like to have the best chances to be popular and by ways like being smart and being pretty.

I stumble across a topic I wasn't quite acquiant with. I take out my notebook and start doing some of the questions given. I guess I got the attention of the little blue guy since he got up and from behind, starts pointing out my mistakes.

"This is literally one of the most easiest questions in the textbook, how the hell did you get them wrong?"

"I mean it's not my strong point and when did I ask you for help? Didn't you tell me to leave you alone."

"Whatever man, good luck passing this year."

Holy crap this guy is getting on my nerves with every word coming out of his ass he calls a mouth.

"What about you, what's your name genius?"
"Yoru."

"Aight Yoru, if you're gonna be such a dick why don't you focus on your things."

"You really expect me to look the other way when you're making such idiotic mistakes?"

"Piss off."

**RING RING**
The door swings open to reveal a tall woman with long black hair, and books in her hands.

"Good morning students and welcome to Valorant High School. Congratulations on getting in. I am Wei Ling Ying but please refer to me as Miss Sage. Please take out your biologiy textbooks and go to the first chapter."

Miss Sage spoke in a calm yet intimidating manner. Im not sure how much I'll like this class with such a serious teacher. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After the first two classes, it's now break! I take out my wallet and make way to Jett.

"Yo man, you ready?"

"Hey pretty boy, one sec just gotta take out my lunch box."

"Ooo is it kibimbap? I'm totally taking a bite."

"Not unless I finish everything first."

We walk whilst talking.

"Soo you made any new friends yet, met your new seatmate?"

"Bro my new seatmate, Yoru is SUCH an asshole. I mean I was just trying to make conversation but he legit had to make a big deal out of it by talking in the most annoying voice ever!"

"Dang man, that must suck. But anyways my seatmate is literally the best! Her name's Neon and she's definitely going to be my best friend! She's so nice AND she runs track just like me!"

"Luckyy, I would kill to swap seats. It's only the first day but he decides to be so mean for no reason."

"Sucks to be you lol."

We arrive at the enormous cafeteria and head towards the line. When we arrive at the front I order a basic chocolate roll from the robot servers and wait for Jett outside the line.

"Ouch! Watch where youre going man. You hit me quite hard!"

"Aww did I mess up his royal highness's uniform?"

"You! Can't you just leave me alone like how you told me to?"

"You're the one standing in the middle of the cafeteria."

I look around my surroundings and realized I really am in the middle.

"Tch whatever bruv."
We roll our eyes at eachother.

Jett comes beside me while sipping on her coffee.

"Whats up his butt?"
"I don't even know man, that's the seatmate I was talking about."
"THATS Yoru? I thought he'd be uglier."

We sit at a free table near one the vending machines and work on our food.

"What's our next class?" I ask with a bread roll in my mouth.

"I think... Chemistry. God we're so gonna die! I heard from the school website that there's been so many complaints about the teacher cause she's so strict. I even saw a story how she threatened to feed a student a rat if he didn't finish his homework!"

"What the... How has she not gotten fired yet?"

"It's because everyone who has ever had a class with her always scores an A on their chemistry exam!"

"If it's like that, then I don't mind. I'm gonna be the most well known student no matter the reason!"

"You'll definitely be popular alright. Just... Not for being smart."
