Yeji's POV:

"Good night, Ryujin!" I waved from my doorstep as she was about to leave. We had been chatting about random things when suddenly my mother appeared, seemingly intrigued by our conversation.

"Well, hello there! I thought I heard Yeji's voice, so I came to check," Mom said with a warm smile, looking at Ryujin. "Yeji, seems like you've made a good-looking friend," she teased, chuckling a bit.

Ryujin smiled back, extending her hand for a handshake. "Hi, I'm Ryujin. Nice to meet you," she said with a friendly tone.

"Nice to meet you too, Ryujin. I'm Selugi, Yeji's mom," Mom replied, returning the handshake warmly. "Why don't you both come inside? It's getting chilly out here," she suggested with a friendly smile, inviting us into the warmth of our home.

Ryujin smiled politely and declined, saying, "Thank you, but I should head back home now. I promise I'll visit next time."

As Ryujin zoomed away on her bike, I turned towards the door of my house. I could already sense the mischievous twinkle in my mom's eyes, ready to dive into some teasing about Ryujin.

"Yeji, dear, is that your new best friend?" Mom asked with a playful smirk.

"Mom, I'm beat," I replied with a fake yawn, trying to dodge her teasing.

"Oh, come on, spill the beans! Is Ryujin the reason for that dreamy smile on your face?" Mom teased further, raising her eyebrows suggestively.

I chuckled nervously. "Maybe she's just funny, Mom. Or maybe I'm just tired. G'night!"

"Alright, sleepyhead. But we'll talk more about this tomorrow," Mom winked, clearly enjoying the game.

I hurried inside, trying to stifle my laughter. It was always a fun banter with Mom, especially when it came to new friendships. Little did she know the adventures Ryujin had brought into my life, making everything a bit more colorful and exciting.

Ryujin's POV:

Ryujin's day started off brighter than usual, with the sun showing up earlier than expected. She felt eager and ready for the day ahead.

After getting ready for school, Ryujin said bye to her parents and rode her motorbike to school.

Once she arrived, instead of heading straight to class, she decided to visit her favorite spot—the rooftop. It's a quiet place where she likes to gather her thoughts before starting the day.

The rooftop had a great view, with the city spread out below her. Ryujin took a moment to enjoy the calm and the fresh morning air.

But then, she realized she might be running late. "Oops, gotta hurry," she thought, heading back downstairs to get to class.

I was running in the corridor when I hit someone's shoulder on my way. I stopped to apologize  them. Still, he caught my collar ,but I kept my calm trying to not make a big deal of it.

Still, he started yelling "Can't you see where you are going, shortie ?"

I wanted to laugh after listening to his words. Why does everyone has to point out my height I'm not that short people come on. Trying to keep things light, I joked, "Hey, let's not get too worked up over a little bump."
