I woke up knowing today I am going to make my co-workers to hate me. I know I am strange, cold and that people, especially people in child care do not like that kind of people. And on even worst note, I am starting as deputy manager without any experience in a child care and all of that because I am daughter of a owner. Everyone will hate me and I don't mind that. I really don't want people to like me. I was disappointed so many times in my life by my so called friend and family. I know this will be a bumpy ride for me, but I really need something in my life that will be a little bit calmer. So I put some clothes on, put on some makeup and make my half ponytail hairstyle. I sat in my car and drove to the nursery.

I parked in the front of the nursery.
- Okay Autumn... You got this.
I took a deep breath and walked in. In front of me there stood a friendly face. If you ask me, it was too friendly.
- Hi, you must be Autumn.
- Yes.
I sad.
- I am Marjorie, nice to meet you.
She stretched out her hand.
- I don't do physical contact.
She looked at me with strange look.
- Okay than.
She said kindly.
- Let's go to my office.
- Alright.
I followed her to the office. Office was nice, it looked like a well decorated living room. Of course it was not decorated in my style, but it was alright.
- Sit
She looked at the chair. I nodded with my head and sat down.
- Okay Autumn, I looked at your CV and I saw that you don't have any experience in child care.
- Yes. Would that be a problem?
- I mean... You will be my deputy manager so... I hoped that you have at least a few years in similar job.
- And?
- And.... Nothing.
She was kinda scared when I look at her and when I talk. I liked that.
- So? Am I in or what?
- Yes, yes you are in. This is your desk and I will give you some papers too study, it's some of our rules and policys you should know.
- A homework?
- I mean you could look on it that way...
- Okay I always liked homework.
- O so you like to study?
She asked with a awkward smile.
- No really. But I always looked at homework like a torturing device. And I like that.
She kinda froze for a moment.
- Am ... Alright...
Awkward silence was present at that moment.
- So?
- Yes, alright. I will show you now around and you will meet some staff members.
- If I must...

- So this is our baby room and leader of that room is our Charlotte. Charlotte, could you come here for a second?
- of course! Hello, you must be Autumn, I am Charlotte.
She stretched her hand.
- I don't do physical contact.
Marjorie and Charlotte looked at each other. Charlotte was even more friendly than Marjorie. She was calm.
- Are you so calm because you are working in a torturing surrounding?
- What?
Charlotte asked me with confusion in her eyes.
- You know, working with that small crying babys.
- No, I love working with babies.
She said.
- Oh...
I was in shock. Someone likes working with babies? She must be delusional or something...
- Okay, so we better get going.
Marjorie said.
- Alright.
I turned and walked out of there when I bumped at someone.
- Watch where you going!
I shouted.
- I am so sorry, are you alright?
I looked up and saw a male staff member.
- Yes, but this is unacceptable.
- What is?
- This! You can't just bump in to people!
- Respectfully, you bumped in to me.
Marjorie came at that moment.
- Autumn, I see you met Winter.
-  Who?
- Winter, our one and only male employee.  He is one of our best staff members.
- He is? Well I don't think he is that good.
- So you are our new deputy?
He said like he's trynna say something bad with that.
- Yes I am.
- Okay than. I'm so sorry, but I gotta run. Nice... Am...Good to... Am... Well, we meet.
He walked away down to hallway. He was strange, a bit... Sassy. I liked that.
- So Autumn, let's go into office and do some paperwork. I will show you how to get some thing done.
- Alright.
