I'm awake. As if I have been woken up from a long sleep, I sit there. I'm confused. My head hurts. It feels like there's some kind of fog filling my head full. I look around and find myself sitting alone on the ground, surrounded by a forest. Beside me, a giant crater is gaping open. It's as if a big tree have been ripped right out of the ground.

'Where am I?' I ask, hoping that someone would respond to me. No one did. 'What happened here?' I walk to the edge of  the crater and try to look inside. A puddle of water shows me my face. 'Who am I?'

I think I lost my memories. I look up and see the sun shining almost right above me. It's so bright that I cover my eyes. That is when I find out that I'm holding a cane. I start inspecting the cane, hoping to find some clue about myself. I start from the wooden stick, then I run my fingers on the handle and the tiny fairy figure. Finally, I find something carved on it.

P.A.N

'Peter!'

A certain bell-like voice rings out in my brain. A familiar voice, calling out a familiar name. Peter. Is that my name? As I'm sorting my thought, something catch my eyes. Two pale horses, pulling a carriage in the sky. It appears out of nowhere and is getting closer. I follow it with my eyes until it stops in front of me. I stand up as the door opens, revealing a beautiful lady in a black dress.

'Good day, young man,' she greets me with a little bow.

'Hullo! What brings you here today ma'am?'

'I would like to thank you for what you have done,' she steps down from the carriage and walks past me. 'And tell you what had happen'

'Do you know what happen here ma'am? I just woke up and can't seem to remember anything.'

'That is to be expected.' She faces me. 'You just uses all your power. The fact that you're still alive is a miracle.'

The Lady proceeds to tell me a story of a fairy. As the guardians of nature, she was tasked to preserve the nature. She did her job splendidly, until she found out the true ability of Fairy Dust. She obtained an island and with the Fairy Dust, she made more fairies. As more fairies exist, she needed more Fairy Dust, and so, she started collecting Lost souls, farming their memories.

'What does this have to do with me?'

'Good question. Walk with me, Peter.' We start to walk through the forest. 'Immortality is a curse, Peter. As your family, friends, and everyone else get older, wither, and die, you won't.' She opens a folding fan and a leaf lands on it. 'However, you can still die. Simply put, you can be erased.' The leaf, which is still green suddenly turns brown and dry.

'Do you mean....Did I erase someone?'

'You did, and we're thankful for it.' She closes her fan. 'I have spent decades searching for Neverland, but those Fairy Dust is really good at hiding things'

'I see'

'Ah! Here we are!' The lady approach a hole in the tree. 'Why don't you call your friends?'

'Friends?'

'Yes. Inside the tree hole,' she points into the hole. 'They should hear you.'

Not really knowing what to do. I stick my head inside the tree. 'Hullo? It's Peter. Are my friends here?'

It's silent inside the tree. Then, I hear something. It's the sound of birds flapping their wings. I look down into the dark hole. As my eyes adjusts to the darkness, some things appear. Surprised, I fell onto my bottom. The things zoom out of the exit. Those are birds. Seven sparrows have exited the tree and now circling me in excitement.

'Are they...my friends?'

'They are.' She waves her fan towards them and like magic, the sparrows turn into humans.

6 boys and a girl. They are all covered in golden glow. 'What's happening?' I ask her.

'I think we're moving on, Peter' Instead of the lady, the girl replies with tears in her eyes. 'I can finally leave this place'

The other boys start crying too. They are all talking at the same time. I can't understand them. All I know is that they are all relieved that everything is over. As the glow turns brighter, the kids starts to say 'goodbye' and 'thank you' to me. Not knowing what to do, I just stare at them until they vanish into thin air.

'The incident....is probably too much for them.' The lady put her hand on my shoulder.

'I barely know them.' My vision starts to get blurry. 'But, somehow, it hurts.'

She smiles at me. 'True. It hurts.' She put her hand on my head now. 'However, there's no better proof of a heart, than a heartbreak.'

It takes me a few minutes before I can talk again and the first question out of  my mouth is  'So, what now?'

'That is for you to decide.'

'I thought you came here to tell me about what I should do'

'No. I came here to mourn' She put her fan down. 'So many lives are gone right under my nose, and I couldn't even lift a finger. I would be lucky if they accept my prayer'.

My mind is foggy, but something clears up. Something about a fairy, laughing as she turns everything into fairy dusts. 'Titania....' I mutter as a raging headache attacks me.

A scene flashes in my mind. A Queen collecting abandoned souls and turning them into souls. Then, a fight and bright light. That's right. I erase the Queen for her deeds and now, everything's over.  My friends are all gone and I'm alone.

No. I'm not alone. I won't be alone. I will build it, my ideal country, where lost souls can be whatever they want and have fun until the end of times. We'll have adventures, make stories, laughs and enjoy our deaths.

'Seems like you know what to do now'

'Yes!' I start floating in the air. 'I'm going to make a place for the lost souls!'

'I see...'

'But I'll need an assistant for that!'

I hold my cane in one hand and open the palm of my other hand. I twirl the cane slowly and tap my palm. A little pile of golden dust appears. The golden dust sways and moulds into a little shape. Slowly, a head emerges. It looks around before shaking off the excess dusts, revealing a tiny humans with a pair of wings,

'Long time no see, Tinkerbell' Tinkerbell points to herself. 'Yes. You're Tinkerbell, my friend'

The fairy flies excitedly in responds. Seeing this scene, the lady turns and whistle. A few seconds later, her carriage arrive in front of her. I run towards her, right before she can climb the carriage. I feel like this won't be the last time I see her, but there's something I need to ask her.

'Wait lady!' She stops and looks at me. 'My name is Peter Pan. What is your name?'

'You can call me Death, love.'

With that, she climbs the carriage and closes the door. The horses start with a gallop and before I know it, the carriage has risen to the sky. Along with Tinkerbell, I fly into the sky, waving at the carriage. Death opens the window and waves her handkerchief. The carriage vanishes into the clouds.

'Come on, Tink! We're going to have a lot of fun!'
