Chapter 41

After the Order completed their quest and Harry arrived safely at the burrows the Golden trio was complete again. The house was quiet as everyone laid asleep in their beds.

Ron pressed his nose in Nevaeh's hair, smelling her comforting scent. Her breathing was steady as she had finally fallen asleep. She laid in his arms, her back pressed against his chest.

Nevaeh had barely left his side during the summer at the Burrows. He loved having her close but he did worry about her. She'd grown even more quiet since Dumbledore's death.

She was on edge almost every minute of the day, jumping at the smallest sounds. She woke up almost every night, dripping in sweat as the nightmares haunted her.

Ron held her tight, they had been sleeping in the same bed ever since arriving at the burrows.

As the night wore on, Ron stayed awake, his thoughts swirling with worry for Nevaeh. He gently stroked her hair, trying to soothe her even in her sleep.

Outside, the wind whispered through the trees, casting eerie shadows across the room. Ron's grip on Nevaeh tightened slightly, as if he could protect her from the darkness that lurked beyond the walls.

Suddenly, Nevaeh stirred in his arms, her breathing becoming more rapid. She let out a small whimper, her nightmares once again invading her sleep. Ron whispered soothing words into her ear, hoping to chase away the demons that haunted her dreams.

The first light of dawn began to filter through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. Nevaeh's breathing gradually steadied, and Ron felt a sense of relief wash over him. As the new day dawned, Ron made a silent vow to always be there for Nevaeh, to support her through the darkest of times.

As the sun rose, bringing with it a sense of anticipation and excitement, the Weasley household bustled with activity. Today was a special day – the wedding of Fleur Delacour and Ron's brother, Bill Weasley.

Nevaeh stirred awake, her sleep still heavy from the night's unrest. She blinked sleepily, her thoughts slowly clearing as she remembered the events of the previous night. It eased her mind a little knowing Harry had been brought to safety at the Burrows.

Ron was still asleep beside her, his arm draped protectively over her waist. With a soft smile, Nevaeh gently extricated herself from Ron's embrace and slipped out of bed.

She quietly got herself dressed, the scent of breakfast coming from downstairs. Her dress was a light pink shade, reminding her of rose lily's. She brushed through her hair and put on some light makeup. After spraying on some perfume she tiptoed out of the bedroom and made her way downstairs.

Molly was in the kitchen, a flurry of activity as she prepared for the day's festivities."Good morning, Nevaeh, dear, you look beautiful." Molly greeted with a warm smile.

"I told you the dress would look amazing on you!" Ginny squealed. Ginny carefully hugged the small girl, as if not to ruin her dress.

"Thank you, Ginny. Want me to braid your hair?" Nevaeh offered.

"Yes, please!"

Nevaeh smiled and followed Ginny upstairs. In the following hour she helped Ginny and Hermione with their hair and makeup. Despite the chaos, there was an underlying sense of joy and celebration in the air.

As the hours passed, the Weasley household transformed into a scene of enchantment. The garden was adorned with flowers and fairy lights, creating a magical ambiance for the ceremony.

Ginny and Hermione talked about Fleur's beautiful wedding dress as they walked downstairs. Nevaeh quietly following them from behind.

Ron was waiting for her downstairs, his eyes growing bigger as she came into view. He wore a suit that seemed to be the perfect size to his tall and muscular body.

Nevaeh blushed as she felt his eyes on her body. He outstretched his hand and twirled her around as she grabbed it. A giggle escaped her lips which he loved hearing.

"You look beautiful, Nev."

The guests gathered in the garden, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the bride. Nevaeh stood beside Ron, her hand intertwined with his. And as Fleur made her grand entrance, radiant and resplendent in her wedding gown, Nevaeh couldn't help but feel a swell of happiness in her heart. Despite the darkness that loomed on the horizon, moments like these served as a reminder of the light and love that bound them together.

As the ceremony concluded and the evening descended, the atmosphere shifted from the formalities of the wedding to the lively festivities of the reception. The garden twinkled with fairy lights, casting a soft glow over the gathered guests as they mingled and danced.

Nevaeh found herself swept up in the joyous atmosphere, laughter and music filling the air. She danced with Harry, Hermione and Ginny but her eyes kept drifting back to Ron, who was busy greeting family and friends.

Eventually the music slowed. Ron approached Nevaeh, his hand outstretched, a soft smile playing on his lips. Without a word, Nevaeh placed her hand in his and they danced slowly.

In that moment, everything else faded away, leaving only the two of them lost in each other's embrace. They moved together effortlessly, their hearts beating in time with the music. Ron gazed into Nevaeh's eyes, his love and affection evident in every glance. Ron leaned in, his lips meeting Nevaeh's in a gentle kiss.

With a silent understanding, Ron gently took Nevaeh's hand and led her away from the crowded tent, weaving through the twinkling lights and blooming flowers of the garden.

Finding a secluded spot beneath a canopy of trees, Ron turned to Nevaeh, his eyes filled with a mixture of desire and adoration. Without a word, he pulled her close, his lips seeking hers in a passionate kiss.

Nevaeh melted into his embrace, her heart racing with anticipation. Lost in the moment, their kisses grew deeper with each passing second. The world around them faded into oblivion as they became lost in each other, their bodies pressed together in an intimate embrace.
They explored each other's lips with a hunger that bordered on desperation, their hands roaming freely.

Until suddenly a sound broke them apart.
