Finn Deimne, being the captain of one of the largest familia in Orario, had many responsibilities in and out of the dungeon, day or night. Since it was a day without any adventures or expeditions planned, that meant he was doing paperwork. Right now, he was currently looking through a stack of applications, specifically for one. He was looking for Bell Cranel's applications.

Finn had the skill Intuition, which worked to give him a sense of... foreboding, mostly for combat situations or emergencies. So the fact that it had gone off, even slightly, for something that seemed so small was something Finn wanted to investigate.

Finn finally found the application he was looking for and began reading.

Finn was the person who had designed the application for the Loki familia, as he was the one who read through them and brought the promising ones to Loki. He rather enjoyed reading through the applications, because the way he had set it up allowed him to get a sense of the person who wrote it before having met them. It was a simple series of questions, but it was two pages long. This was because, unlike some familia who just asked for basic information (level, time adventuring, adventurer type, guild advisor, etc), this application had several personal questions.

Bell's application was a pretty good one, probably the most promising one he'd read in a long time. The first page and half of the second page were the personal questions, which he'd gone in depth on. He had grown up in a cabin with his Grandfather, who had taught him.. how to fight and survive in the dungeon. Huh. That's weird for a couple of people living so far away from Orario. If Bell wanted to become an adventurer and his Grandfather had knowledge of the dungeon to impart, why hadn't they lived in Orario?

In the same section he also read about how Bell had begun working and saving valis when he was ten and continued to do odd jobs until leaving his village. He read about Bell's love of reading and knowledge, something that would be immensely useful as an adventurer. Tons of people died in the dungeon due to a simple lack of knowledge, whether it be of survival skills or monsters found in the dungeon and ways to counter them.

"This kid seems almost trained from birth. Why is it they never came to Orario?"

He then read about Bell's reason for coming to Orario. To become an adventurer, of course. No surprise there based off of everything he'd already read up to this point. He read about how he finally came after his Grandpa's passing, but it was never said why he waited until then.

He also learned of Bell's combat style. He mainly used a sword but was skilled in using a bow, but more so for hunting than combat though he could adapt when needed. Most of his training was informal through his Grandfather and people in his village, with the occasional adventurer passing through and giving lessons after being payed.

And then the last half of a page was the information page, the real reason he'd come to read this application.

Bell Cranel. Age 15. Born in a far off village. Guild Advisor - Eina Tulle. Combat type. No magic. Level

0

Finn's thumb throbbed for a second before calming down. His Intuition was kicking again, and in relation to the same person. There was something about this kid that was unusual, which was in fact pretty usual for adventurers in Orario. But this kid couldn't even be  an adventurer yet. He had no falna.

Falna.

Dungeon.

This kid had entered the dungeon without a falna, made it to the fourth floor and not only survived the trip down, but an encounter with two minotaur AND made it back up.
