Finding a familia was easier said than done, especially since Bell had some expectations. He would only  join an adventuring familia, and he wouldn't join any of those scammy familia that required an entrance fee. Both common sense and the book left by his Grandpa said that it was a bad idea. Familia like that were a money pit.

'I'd rather walk into the dungeon without a falna than join a predatory ass familia like that.'

The first order of business was to find familia to join. Bell went to one of the map stands he had seen on the previous day and asked for a map that would help him find different familia to apply to.

"What kinda familia ya plannin on joinin?"

"Adventuring."

"Here ya are."

Bell paid and walked away. First order of business done. Bell then went to find a peaceful place to figure out which ones would be his best options.

He walked down a few side streets and down an alley before coming upon a fairly open and private area. He sat down and got to step two.

Step two would take a while longer than step one. Cross-referencing the map and his Grandpa's book would take some time, but was very important. He had  to join the best familia possible, get the best advantage he could. There were countless Gods and familia in Orario, and so many were purely for adventurers. So he began studying.

After a few hours of studying which familia he though he would fit best in, as well as some long shots, namely the Loki familia, he had finally decided which familia to apply to and he had planned out a route to get the applications done as fast as he could. During this time, he had also found out which familia he would not  be joining, namely the Freya familia. Gramps' book had made it very clear; Freya didn't run a familia, but a cult.

Before he could start applying, however, he needed a dungeon advisor. He knew he'd be asked to provide the name of his dungeon advisor, so if a familia wanted to reach out and respond they'd have a way to due so. He quickly made his way to the guild.

Arriving at the guild, Bell stepped in and immediately went up to the counter. He wanted to spend as much of the daylight that was left putting in applications.

After waiting for only a few moments, an elf female approached Bell. She was wearing the guild uniform and glasses, and had brown hair that went to about her shoulders.

"Hello, sir. What can I help you with?"

"I'm a new adventurer. I wanted to make sure I was registered here and that I had a guild advisor before I put in applications to join a familia."

"Good idea. You decide to do that before or after being told mid-application you needed an advisor?"

"Before."

"Smart one huh. Alright, follow me. I'll take you to a booth where we can get you registered and you can be told some basic information. By the way, I'm Eina Tulle, and I'll be your dungeon advisor."

She smiled and held out her hand for a handshake, which Bell accepted.

'She seems nice enough, but something tells me this "basic information" will take longer than necessary.'

It was quicker than Bell had expected, and by quite a bit. She really had meant basic information. Now he was registered and had an advisor, and she had even helped him narrow down his list of familia to apply to, letting him know which ones weren't as trustworthy. He was finally ready to start applying.
