So as we all know, there was an investigation going on. Many wonder if the phone calls are pre-recorded or current. I will be talking about what I think happened, and I will also need help figuring one thing out.
Night 1 Call:
So, a break down. Phone Guy saying that this is the guard's "summer job" is a huge hint in the calls being pre-recorded. PG also says he wants the guard to forget about what he might've heard about the previous location, that being the Missing Children's Incident, which likely caused the old location to shut down. Phone Guy says the old restaurant was "left to rot" meaning it likely closed at the same time the MCI happened, meaning it closed either June 1983 or June 1985, whichever you believe. It is said the new animatronics have facial recognition and other security measures, likely because they don't want another MCI to happen. PG mentions Jeremy is the second guard to work there, and the other one was moved to the dayshift, it's possible the first guard was William Afton. More on why, later. The only reason I think this doesn't work is because I don't think William would complain about the animatronics trying to get him. At the same time, then it makes sense why the animatronics confuse other guards for Afton. Another thing though, if these are recordings, then that means there was someone after Afton and someone before Jeremy, meaning Jeremy is actually the third guard. Why they kept these tapes for Jeremy instead of new ones is unknown. PG says Freddy's should be the safest place on earth...focus on that for a bit.
Night 2:
Not as important but the phone guy does mention the Marionette could go anywhere, which foreshadows that it was made to protect kids, so it can follow them anywhere. It also foreshadows that the Marionette can go into the safe room, unlike the others, and give the kids life.
Night 3:
As mentioned in my Foxy daycare theory, phone guy said Mangle was made for TODDLERS. So I feel like that's even more proof that Afton broke Mangle in the first place, not kids. Employees can't even fix her correctly because they're not mechanics, which leads to kids easily taking her apart afterwards, and kids can't put it back together either. Phone guy mentions that there's "rumors" recently. Phone Guy even says, "whatever is going on OUT THERE, has nothing to do with our establishment." Meaning something happened outside of Freddy's. He is talking about the DCI, it is likely that people noticed 5 kids went out and disappeared, and connected Freddy's to it. He also mentions the day guard who has reported nothing unusual. This adds why the day guard is likely William Afton, because he hid his own crime. Not sure why he would report the animatronics moving, but whatever.
Night 4:
Phone Guy informs us there is now an investigation going on. Nobody knows what happened to these kids. Fazbear Entertainment still denies any wrongdoing, which means that they are still suspects but nothing has been discovered yet. It's very likely they are suspects because 5 children went missing in their old location, so they assumed the same this time. And now the big reveal, Phone Guy says that the animatronics are now aggressive towards staff. Well, now that the DCI has taken place, the toys are now possessed.
Night 5:
Phone Guy's tone is somewhat different here. The building is now on lockdown, it is very likely William got caught, since PG mentions to not let in any previous employees. Wether they got caught by the police and arrested him, or if Fazbear Entertainment found out and just fired him, is unknown. ANOTHER THING, PG says the night guard will now be on dayshift since, "a position just became...available." Meaning William WAS the day guard but left already. PG says he'll try to contact the old owner, and he struggles to remember the name and doesn't even know the owner's name, so it's very likely that FredBear's closed years ago, which adds on to my theory that FredBear and SpringBonnie were once Freddy Fazbear Pizza animatronics in the old location before FNAF 2.
Night 6:
..........Ok this is where I get confused and need help. So first things first, Phone Guy sounds VERY afraid now, he is worried, and it doesn't sound like it's a recording anymore, it's a phone call. He tells Jeremy to get out because the building is closed. But like, he says someone used a suit in the back, a yellow one, and that now none of the animatronics are acting right...but like, what??? William already used the suit to kill kids, the animatronics were already not acting right. The fact that Golden Freddy appears in this night makes it seem like Golden Freddy's kid got killed that night, but we know he died with the other MCI, so that doesn't make sense, and William was already gone at this point. The closest thing I could come up:
So maybe, months after the investigation, cops found out someone used a suit to kill kids, which causes the building to close. They got informed of this after Night 5, so Phone Guy actually calls this time and tells the night guard to leave, informing him of the news. Maybe he's not saying it as if it just happened, he's just saying that they finally told them what happened, which causes him to get worried, and realizes that that's the reason none of them are acting right? But idk, I'm a little stumped with this one. One thing though, if phone guy assumed that, then why would he say it's safer for Jeremy to finish his shift than trying to leave in the middle of the night? Wouldn't the "Safest place on earth" not be considered safe anymore after this discovery?
Anyway, Phone Guy says that Jeremy will be moved to dayshift and that he has to stay close to the animatronics, and since the animatronics were still allowed to walk around during the day, then this possibly means that Jeremy was the victim of the Bite of 87, as many have said before.
Night 7:
In Night 7 we play as Fritz Smith, there is no phone call. Many assume Fritz Smith is just an alias by Michael, but I think that theory is stupid and doesn't make sense, sorry lmao. I don't see what reason Michael would come here and work for 1 night and change his name for, especially since he then works in the FNAF 1 location with his regular name. Anyway, I think it makes sense for Fritz Smith to be Phone Guy because in the previous call, he said he'll take the night shift after Jeremy. Only problem with this is that Fritz gets fired after one day of working there, and as we know, Phone Guy doesn't get fired.
Epilogue:
The toy animatronics are destroyed after the location closes, freeing the DCI. It's crazy, the DCI had a whole story in this game and no one really talks about them and they never come back ever again or are even given names. The MCI is just barley getting a story with Into the Pit coming out.
