In Defense of the Withered's

Recently, many people have believed that the Withered animatronics were never unwithered. And false information has been spreading. Basically people believe that the FNAF 1 animatronics were there FIRST, and then they tried making new ones (withereds) but gave up. Here is why people think the unwithered's never existed, followed by an explanation:

1. "FNAF 1 Freddy is always used, never Withered Freddy"

Wrong. Withered Freddy was used for FNAF 6. Also, the reason FNAF 1 Freddy is used is because in our eyes, that's the main Freddy. Scott is always gonna use that one because he's the most iconic one to fans. Using Withered Freddy every time would be awkward, especially since he's meant to be an "ugly" Freddy.

2. "Older Models"

Phone Guy directly calls the Withered Animatronics, the "OLDER MODELS" and he says they're from "THE PREVIOUS LOCATION." Phone Guy said the old location was left to rot, so it's likely the animatronics were old and were barley working, when Freddy's decided to re-open, they started putting the security systems in them before they gave up and made the toys.

3. "Why would they mention they added security measures if it was only for the new ones!"

Because like I said, they STARTED to fix them. And that whole "they started retrofitting them with new technology" was there for the plot. PG says the reason the employees think the toys are moving is because of the security systems. If they didn't mention the security systems and saw the Withered's moving, they'd be weirded out, but for the plot, they mentioned it to show why the employees think they're moving.

4. The smell

PG mentions the old animatronics had a smell in them, referring to the corpses of the MCI. The newspapers in FNAF 1 say that CUSTOMERS complained about the smell, meaning these animatronics were active at one point, and they were the suits the kids were stuffed into. It's likely the CEO covered this up when remaking the restaurant. Customers complained about the animatronics so they made new ones. I mean, anyone would be horrified to find kids bodies in them, they wouldn't just re-use them.

5. Redesigned

PG says the old ones were ugly and they decided to go kid friendly. Now idk about y'all, but the FNAF 1 animatronics do look kid friendly, so do the toys. The withered's however, don't. Neither did FredBear and SpringBonnie, so it's clear the classics and the toys were made after the Withered's. Plus...why would they think Foxy is too scary, make Mangle, and then bring back the same scary Foxy in FNAF 1? They didn't. Withered Foxy was the one who was too scary. You'll notice Mangle and Classic Foxy have similar shapes.

6. Foxy is twitchy

PG says Foxy was "always" twitchy after he says he used to love the old characters. If it was a new robot, he wouldn't compare it to the old one. Even said the "OLDER MODELS" again, would get disoriented with bright lights.

7. The FNAF 2 cutscenes show the spirits waking up.

Yes, well in another theory I did, I explained that this isn't the first time they're possessing the suits, it's the moment they switched vessels from the Withered's to the new machines, put there by the Marionette.

8. Adding to that previous one.

Explain to me this, why in tf would the MCI possess the Classics, then jump to the Withered's for no reason, and then jump back into the classics? Like, what is even the point if their first bodies weren't even destroyed. We are shown they are TRAPPED and the only way they're free is if their bodies are destroyed. Like, if they can randomly switch then why don't Susie and Gabriel just swap bodies for a day or something, lmao.

9. Golden Freddy

Not to mention, why would they make FredBear, make another one, and then keep the original one. While there isn't a clear answer why the Golden Freddy suit exists in the first place, making a new one when they didn't even make  a Toy FredBear, doesn't make sense.

10. "The Silver Eyes and Movies use the classics!"

Again, because they're the iconic ones, so they used those ones. Plus, the history of Fazbear Entertainment is drastically different, I mean, the toy animatronics don't even exist in the Silver Eyes. Only Mangle and BB do, and even then, Mangle is just Funtime Foxy, and BB was just an illusion. In both the books, and the movies, there was only ONE Freddy Fazbear's that opened in the 80's and was left abandoned after the MCI, unlike the games that kept opening and closing locations.

11. "Into the Pit" shows Classics

1. It's likely just a different artstyle.

2. If it is the classics, well again, it's because they're the iconic ones, I mean, there is toy animatronic merchandise in FNAF 4 before the toys even existed.

3. If they do turn out to be the classics, well then it's likely a Springtrap and Scraptrap situation, same character, different depiction.

12. Help Wanted shows Classics.

Again, because they'll continue to use the originals as they're the most iconic. Also, the Withered's weren't even in Help Wanted, and the unwithered's location was never shown to us either, so they used what they had. It doesn't sound too crazy to say that considering Phantom Foxy and Freddy look like Classic Foxy and Freddy instead of the withered's.

Conclusion:

The Unwithered's did exist, they are where the MCI were stuffed into, after they were destroyed, Marionette put their souls in the new suits from FNAF 1. Scott just hates the Withered's and only brought them back for UCN, and then Help Wanted because fans wanted them.

Also to all the people saying "I knew the unwithered's didn't exist-" yes they do, and no tf you didn't, stop lying LMFAOOOOOO
