This isn't a theory. These are head canons for the MCI, me filling in info we don't get from them.
NOTE: My old one got a little messy cause it was before I read the books and knew about Andrew and Cassidy. So this is a more updated version. Some are the same, some are new.
General:
Since we get told that they hate adults but not kids, here's my idea. Now see, I know we get told that they think the nightguard is William, which makes sense, but even though they're kids, I don't think they're dumb enough to think that every adult that visits Freddy's is William. Plus phone guy says they just "stare" at them. Personally, I wanna believe that in their short lives, they didn't have a good experience with adults. Which will be noted here.
Also I headcanon that in the movie universe, the Marionette gave the kids their item things, (hat, ears, bib, hook) the only thing that ruins this theory is the fact that the Golden Freddy kid didn't get anything lmao.
Gabriel/Jeremy:
My headcanon for Gabriel is that he had a single parent. For this, let's go with a father. Also I think he's latino. I imagine he visits Freddy's a lot while his dad is out working, and when his dad is around, he neglects him and doesn't care for him. After Gabriel went missing, I think his dad might've started regretting not spending enough time with him. I also think Gabriel is 7 because of the movie casting, and because Help Wanted confirms it. It is commonly agreed that Gabriel and Jeremy knew each other before, since Freddy and Bonnie are always paired together throughout FNAF, and their graves have the same font. I agree with this, especially since it's said two kids went missing at the same time. Some people think they may be brothers, but I don't think so because in the books, the kids who possess Freddy and Bonnie are different races and Jeremy isn't even there, and in the movie, they're also different races. So, I'm gonna go with "brother from another mother" (but not literally), they were friends. I imagine Jeremy also has a single parent, let's go with a mother, she leaves Jeremy at Freddy's all the time, where he hangs out with Gabriel. If we go with the "little Jeremy" story from SB, maybe Jeremy's parents abandoned him and Gabriel's family took care of him? I know the movie is a different timeline, but I still use it for my headcanons. In this case, I think Jeremy may be around 10-12. Now, why would a 10-12 year old be friends with a 7 year old? Well it's not THAT weird. Maybe Jeremy didn't have friends his age, so he hung out with the neighbor kid and took care of him like he was his little brother. In fact, maybe they CAN be brothers. Step-brothers. Point is, they were close. I won't be talking about how they were all lured away, there is separate theories for those, later. As for their personalities, I imagine Gabriel is a cheery energetic kid, while Jeremy is a little shy and more serious, he's also protective. Gabriel is alone in Help Wanted, so maybe Jeremy lost him and when he tried looking for him, Springbonnie "showed him" where he was. I think after they died, Gabriel still tried to stay cheerful and made the other spirits happy because of his kid optimism. Jeremy, probably sad all the time. I also headcanon the toy girl from FNAF 4 is Gabriel's sister, and that the Bonnie Bully is Jeremy's brother. We can be silly here and say his brother's name is Jeremiah cause the parents were lazy.
Susie:
For Susie, her life SEEMS perfect. She has two parents, her family is wealthy, and she has a pet puppy. But here's my headcanon here, the way Susie is dressed, it seems like she's dressed very nicely, and her hair is curled too. Why would a girl who dresses like this be at somewhere like, Freddy's? In the novels, the other 4 kids dress like everyday kids, Susie is the only one who looks sort of "elegant." I think her family may be fancy. Coming Home in a way proves this cause Samantha is calm, Patricia is said to wear a lot of makeup before Susie's death. Susie is shown to be tougher than Samantha. I think she may be girly, but, she's always hoped to run free and make her own decisions, maybe ride bikes, play video games, etc. but her parents never allowed it. HOWEVER, Patricia is shown not to be terrible. She may not approve of Susie's activities, but she allows it. She even takes her to Freddy's, despite the fact it freaks her out. Maybe Susie's parents are close to being divorced before Susie's death, and because of this, they get Susie and Samantha a dog to distract them from other trouble's. As I said before, her family is "fancy." So the dog is probably messy, which the parents didn't like. It said in coming home that Patricia took Susie to Freddy's when she died. Which probably means, her dog died and she took Susie there to make her feel better.
