When I was younger I used to paint a lot.
My subject of choice would usually be young couples.
Still images of lovers holding hands or staring into each other's eyes.
I always associated art with romance.
Surely if you could see paintings then you could see love as if love is a gallery you can open for the public to watch on full display but love is not tangible.
It is not an object you can hold in your hand and claim as a possession.
It's a precious situation, you have to depend on a guy feeling "when you know, you know."
I guess I was right to think art is like love.
You first go in blind, a little scared of unknown until you start to see obscure shapes start to form, colors start to brighten, a once blurry image starts to become clear, your hand quickens just as fast as your heart beats at the excitement of finally having a muse.
But any artist knows that, because there's always something more they can add.
A painter never really finishes their art.
They just simply stop painting.
