It was now a week before Christmas break, or Yule as wizard customs call it. Draco gave me a book and forced me to read it. The book was about wizard customs and one that was coming up was Yule. Yule was a ball that some richer wizarding families hold every year. It happens the day before Christmas and they also do a ritual that helps boost the magic of the wizarding world. The Party always occurred the night before Christmas day and the actual yule ritual would also occur on Christmas day. After a couple days and a day before we had to make the decision of going home or not, Draco pulled me aside and handed me an envelope.

"I'm sorry to spring this on you so suddenly, but my father and I have been writing back and forth and we want to invite you to a gathering we are holding." I looked up at Draco and noticed that his voice never wavered. He never seemed to not have confidence. After a while he grew impatient and started talking once more.

"You know, it's quite rude to leave someone hanging" I nodded before speaking,

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to seem rude." I opened the letter and started reading. The letter just explained what Draco had said. It just said some extra rules. For example, there's a dress code of A dark forest green and a dull silver gray. I looked up at Draco and smiled. He looked to be nervous about my nearing response. I've never seen him so nervous.

"Of course I'll go to Draco, I'd never reject such an offer" I smiled softly at him and he smirked.

"Of course you wouldn't, I'm Draco Malfoy, and if you did such a thing my father would hear about it." I roll my eyes as we entered our last class before the Yuletide feast, which was flying. It wasn't snowing yet, thank merlin. It went quick, but a interesting incident occurred in the middle of class. The Longbottom kid got injured and so madam Hooch had to take him to the hospital wing in Hogwarts. Telling the students to behave and not fly into the air with the schools brooms. Charles being himself, though, found Longbottom's remembrall and took to the air with it. Draco, hating Charles, decided that he wanted the remembrall as well and flew into the air to retrieve it. In the end, I also headed into the air to stop Draco. In the end though, Draco got his hands on it and Charles wanted it back. So in an attempt of getting it back, Charles tried and failed to knock Draco off his broom, but instead of knocking him off Draco threw the remembrall and got back to the ground. Leaving me and Charles up in the sky. I didn't want Charles to get it, just due to wanting to be better. I flew quickly past Charles and grabbed the remembrall, not even hitting the window at all. Serverus walked out at the perfect time and saw the end of the dispute he took me and headed to Marcus Flint, who was the fifth year Slytherin quidditch captain. He was in DADA and was called out of class to talk to us. After that I had gotten on to the quidditch team after trying out the same day that afternoon, though, knowing Dumbledore, he would definitely try and stop such an action from happening. So thinking ahead, Marcus explained that I would be the backup and we would plan on the actual seeker would step out every game and allow me to play. I agreed to these terms and head off. I started to think about the invitation that Draco had given me. What would I wear? It was a party after all. I could wear one of the robes I acquired from Madam Malkin but those weren't formal party wear. I'd have to go out and buy a pair of formal robes. I sighed. This was one hell of a day. I was tired and all I wanted to do was crash. So that's what I did, I skipped dinner, telling Draco I wasn't up to it, and I did my nightly routine and crashed. Draco looked very skeptical when I told him I wasn't up to it, he thought I was just trying to get out of eating. I wasn't, my eating habits have been getting better lately but today was one of those days. You know? Those days where you just need to crash and sleep for a while to gather yourself back up. That's what I needed, so I didn't do just that. I caught up on some much needed sleep.
