Perfume ☁️🩷

(I love NCT Dojaejung, just a quick oneshot I wrote while listening to Perfume by them.)

Sunghoon and Jake started dating recently. Which would be completely normal if Sunghoon wasn't a vampire and Jake a werewolf. They both are completely different creatures so they are learning not only each other's habits but their creatures habit too. Like with what happened yesterday.

Sunghoon started changing the channels on the TV in their shared dorm/apartment. Their college is pretty rich so the dorms are basically like apartments. Anyway, Sunghoon decided to catch back up on some of his trash tv shows that he loves. He made himself comfortable on the couch in a laying position as he watched tv.

A few seconds later Jake came around the corner from the kitchen into the living room. He didn't have any expression and didn't say anything either. Sunghoon was confused as Jake kept walking towards him.

Eventually Jake was basically hovering over Sunghoon with his nose in his neck. Sunghoon couldn't be sure if he was smelling him or what. All he knew was that he was confused.

"Jake?" Sunghoon called out and apparently that knocked Jake out of whatever trance he was in.

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry Sunghoon." Jake immediately backed off his neck. His eyes drenched in worry as his hand traced Sunghoons face to make sure he was okay.

"For what?" Sunghoon titled his head into his hand; loving the feeling.

"Oh right. When werewolves are in a relationship that is usually as serious as marriage they will scent them. Which scenting is basically claiming them. My scent, the one you say smells good, would be what you would start to smell like too. It's like a way of letting others know that you're mine." Jake explained quickly and a bit too much but Sunghoon didn't mind that much anyway. He found it cute.

"Are you against scenting me?" Sunghoon did a pout. Though it was fake, he just wants a reaction out of Jake. He thinks it's funny when he stammers over his words with pink ears since he's afraid of making a mistake.

"I- uh- no! I love you. It's just- well- it's nothing against you!" Jake's face and words were making it easy to tell how caught off guard he was.

"It's okay Jake. I get it. I guess we wont end up married." Sunghoon can't help but tease him.

"That's not it either!" Jake whined and shook Sunghoons arms who couldn't hold back his laugh.

"Can you like un-scent someone?" Sunghoon titled his head and the question seemed to knock Jake back to his normal self.

"Well yeah but werewolves don't go around scenting just anybody." Jake explained.

"So I'm just anybody?" Sunghoon again couldn't help himself from teasing his words.

"Got dammit Sunghoon." Jake sighed. Sunghoon could see his patience running thin and it was kinda hot to him.

"I'm just kidding Jakey. It's okay if you don't want to scent me." Sunghoon kissed the tip of Jake's nose as Jake still didn't seem happy with his response.

"Me wanting to scent you just then was instinct. If my instincts say I want something then it's true. Sunghoon I would love to scent you. I just want you to be ready for that. Scenting isn't just you smell like me. Scenting means you are everything to me. You'll smell like me, I'll get more protective of you, and I'll crave you during my ruts. It's not like any of that isn't true now, it just gets stronger with scenting." Jake ran a hand through Sunghoons hair.

"Your ruts too? Have you even had one while we've been dating?" Sunghoon interlocked Jake's hand that went through his hair with his.

"Yes, and no you cannot spend my next one with me." Jake already knew he was going to ask that and Sunghoon sighing proved him right.

"Why not?" Sunghoon wrapped his arms over Jake's shoulders since he was still hovering over him.

"They are too rough and I want to ease myself into spending it with you. The most I'll do this next rut is have some of your clothes with me so I can have your scent around." Jake laughed at Sunghoons sparkling eyes.

"Then the next one after that, can I?" Sunghoon tried doing his puppy eyes but Jake's too stubborn for those.

"It depends. I want our first time to be outside of my rut. I'm a different person during my rut. Just a horny dog." Jake laughed as Sunghoon shook his head.

"Whatever you say Jakey." Sunghoon smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you hoon." Jake snuggled his head against Sunghoons neck, "though when I do scent you, please wear whatever perfume you have on right now." Jake's breath was becoming heavy against his neck.

"As much as I would love for you to scent me right now. I want to warn you that you're pretty close to. Because I know how much I want you to but I want to respect what you want." Sunghoon moved Jake's head away from his neck.

Jake shut his eyes and looked down as he took breaths in and out. "God damnit Sunghoon. I love you so fucking much. I want to scent you so bad. I've wanted to scent you for months. I am just too afraid to put all that on you. I want you to be sure when it happens that you're okay with it." Jake was obviously restraining himself and Sunghoon couldn't help but love him more for it all.

"How about we stay here for a minute. I think through it all and I'll tell you if we can go through with it. Hm? Does that sound okay?" Sunghoon ran his hands through Jake's hair who nodded along and stayed still.

Sunghoon has already had his mind made up. Sure some more thinking can be nice but he's mostly only doing it for Jake. He wants him to know that he's not just going into this blindly. He's done his research. Nobody just gets a werewolf boyfriend and never looks up some of their habits. At least Sunghoon doesn't.

After about five more minutes, Sunghoon touched Jake's shoulder. "I'm ready Jake. I want you to scent me." Sunghoon whispered into his ear.

"Fuck..." Jake breathed out. His nose getting closer to Sunghoons neck. He leaned only a little closer and Sunghoon felt his tongue against a certain part of his neck. After a second of licking it, Jake bit down. It wasn't a harmful bite. It felt deep like one but it didn't hurt and it confused Sunghoon.

Once Jake's bite was done he backed his teeth out of his skin. Sunghoon thought it was over but then Jake's tongue started licking over his 'wound'. It felt really good. Sunghoon was fighting back a moan but ended up letting out a light one.

"Feel good?" Jake's teasing face was in front of him.

Sunghoon let out a huge breath he was apparently holding in, "yes"

Somehow with Sunghoon being an introvert, he has never been scared to admit all his feelings to Jake. When they first started dating Jake thought Sunghoon was someone who was super shy, which he is, but he also met the real Sunghoon and fell more in love.
