Part 30: Gift

I collapsed on my bed and wrapped myself up in my blankets. I started getting comfortable in my bed and then I heard a knock.

Y/n: Come in.

Jungkook came in

Jungkook: Hey
Y/n: Hi

I sat up on my bed and patted the seat next to me. He then sat next to me.

Jungkook: I wanted to give you something.

He pulled out the plushy that he got at the amusement park from a bag.

Y/n: Thank you! But shouldn't you keep it I mean you won it?
Jungkook: It's fine you can keep it. Besides it like a little feel better and thanks for letting me stay here.
Y/n: Yeah I guess you're right. Thank you though!
Jungkook: You're welcome. You mean a lot to a lot of people so don't let someone like Vernon take away your self worth.

I smiled and nodded at his words. It felt nice to hear that. I had thought of it but hearing him say those words so sincerely made me loose the thought that I am not worth anything.

Y/n: Thanks.
Jungkook: You're welcome.

We sat for a second.

Jungkook: Do you want to go to get ice cream tomorrow? I'll ask Jin if he can go to.
Y/n: Yeah sure.

He nodded and stood up.

Jungkook: Goodnight Y/n.
Y/n: Goodnight!

He walked away and closed my door gently. I then layed down on my bed and wrapped myself up in my blankets again as I slowly drifted off to sleep.

Jungkook POV

I gently closed Y/n's door as I walked away. I walked into Jin's room and knocked.

Jin: Come in.

I opened the door and saw Jin sitting by his desk.

Jungkook: Hey do you want to go with me and Y/n to the ice cream shop?
Jin: I would but I'm busy tomorrow...
Jungkook: Okay. Well goodnight then.
Jim: Mhm goodnight.

I walked out of his room and closed the door of his room. I then started to go to the living room. I started setting up on the couch. I would have never thought I would be sleeping on a couch when my parents always spoiled me.

Time skip + Y/n POV

Light started to come in through my windows as morning arrived. My alarm rang as I went to go to turn it off. I stretched and rubbed the sleepiness off of my eyes. I stayed in my bed for a few more minutes and then finally got up.

I stood up on the ground and opened my door. As I walked to the kitchen I smelled the smell of Poptarts (or whatever else you would like for breakfast). A smile appeared on my face as I smelled the food.

I walked to the kitchen and said good morning to everyone and they said it back I saw that they had food on their plate so I got my own plate and started to eat.

We chatted and laughed with each other. Then I got up to clean my dish and to go change to go get ice cream with Jungkook and Jin.

I changed and did the rest of my morning routine. Then as I was finishing up my makeup I heard a knock at my door.

Y/n: Come in.

I turned around to see who it was as the door opened and it was Jungkook.

Y/n: Hey I'm almost ready I'll be out in like 5 minutes.
Jungkook: Okay but that's not why I came here.
Y/n: What did you want to talk about then?
Jungkook: I just wanted to know if it's okay if just the two of us go to get ice cream since Jin is busy doing stuff.
Y/n: Yeah that's fine.
Jungkook: Okay well then the driver will be here in 10.
Y/n: Driver?
Jungkook: Yeah my personal driver. I wouldn't want to drive Jin's car. What if I damage it or something? Even though I could buy him a new one if I did.... Anyways I think he might need it today either way. I wouldn't want to bother him with that.

I was awestruck I forgot how rich Jungkook was even though he just hired a bodyguard for the group yesterday. It's so crazy how I forgot how rich he was. I would expect rich people to be less chill than he is. Like more extravagant with their money. Maybe his and his clothes just don't reflect it much...

Y/n: Okay well you can stay here if you want. You can sit on my bed.

He nods and sits down.

I finish getting ready and go sit down next to him.

Y/n: So what ice cream place are we going to?
Jungkook: The new one that opened up on the other side of town.
Y/n: Isn't that place a bit expensive?
Jungkook: Really? I just thought that it would be good to go there since it looks nice.

I keep getting reminded of how rich he is. He doesn't even at all care about the prices... But it would be fun to go.

Y/n: Yeah it is a bit expensive. But we can still go.
Jungkook: Okay then let's go.

We got up and got into his driver's car. It was nice and it didn't look extravagant. It was a pretty normal car. The ride there was really smooth. And soon we got to the ice cream place and the driver left.
