A week after the interview I got a text from Mrs. Jeon. It said "Hello Miss. Y/n I would like to see you this weekend so you can meet everyone and I can shown you around."
I said that I can go. Me and Vernon planed to go on a date and right now I am waiting for him. We are almost 2 months into our relationship.
Ding dong.
I ran down the stairs and opened the door to reveal Vernon with a bouquet of roses.
Y/n: Is this for me?
Vernon: Of course it is.
Then he pulled out a teddy bear.
Vernon: And this is for the most beautiful girl I have ever met.
Y/n: You didn't have to do this. But thank you so much.
Vernon: You are my girl so of course I had to do this for you.
Y/n: You are so nice. Thank you so much you are the best!
I hugged him then i gave him a quick kiss.
Y/n: Oh by the way I am going to meet Mrs. Jeon's family this weekend. So we can't hang out during that time.
Vernon: Oh ok well we will see each other in school.
Y/n: Ya you're right.
* At the park *
Y/n: Can you set up the picnic I am going to go to the restroom.
Vernon: Yeah of course.
Y/n: Ok thanks.
Vernon: No problem.
I was walking out of restroom when I spotted my parents. I walked faster because I didn't want to seem out of the ordinary by running.
Mom: Y/n! Y/n! Sweetie stop running.
Dad: LISTEN TO YOUR MOTHER Y/N AND COME HERE RIGHT NOW!
Y/n: No.
Dad: What did you say?!!! You come here right now!!
Y/n: Ok fine.
I walked towards them.
Y/n: What do you want?
Dad: Now that's that not how to your own parents that raised you.
Then he slapped me. I let some tears fall but kept myself together.
Dad: See you aren't as strong as you thought. You are no one absolutely no one. You're just a bitch.
Y/n: I wish things were like they were a few years ago.
Mom: Well we're like this now and you can't turn back time so suck it up.
Y/n: I am leaving if you guys keep on doing this to me. Bye.
Mom: Now where are you going young lady?
Y/n: I am going to where my boyfriend is.
Mom: No you aren't and who ever told you that you can have a boyfriend. You aren't even pretty.
Y/n: I can have a boyfriend if I want.
Mom: Well anyways where were you these past weeks?
Y/n: I was at the school dorms.
Dad: Why? You have a home.
Y/n: Because I get beaten up in that home and I am unappreciated. Now I am appreciated where I am.
Mom: You are coming home with us right now.
Y/n: NO!
I ran as fast as I could to Vernon.
Y/n: We need to leave.
I was breathing heavily and sweating.
Vernon: Are you ok? You seem tired. What happened?
Y/n: Long story short my parents abused me and want me back now.
Vernon: Why didn't you tell me?
Y/n: Right now isn't the time to be asking questions.
Vernon: Right. Ok I will start packing now.
We quickly packed up and as we were about to stand up to get some other things I hear.
???: Y/n! Y/n! COME BACK RIGHT THIS INSTANT!
Oh no.
Y/n: Come on we need to leave they're here.
Vernon: We still need to pack some things.
Y/n: Fuck.... I am screwed.
Mom: There you are. Now come on we need to leave. Who is this?
She pointed at Vernon. He signalled me to continue packing. So I did.
Vernon: Hello ma'am. My name is Vernon and I am Y/n's Boyfriend. It is a pleasure to meet you. I have heard amazing stuff about you two from Y/n.
Mom: So this is the boy you were talking about? He is very nice. It is a pleasure to meet you too Vernon.
I gave him a signal that I was done packing. And he nodded to give me a signal to start running.
Vernon: Well it was a pleasure to meet you but we have to go and she won't ever be coming with you two. She is staying at the dorm with me
We were both running to the dorms i got the key to my dorm out.
Mom: HEY COME BACK!
Dad: YOU ARE GOING TO BE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!
We made it at the dorms and I unlocked the door.
Jin: Hey you're back.
He sees us panting and sweating.
Jin: What happened?
Y/n: My parents want me back and we ran away from them.
Jin: Oh..... Do you guys want some water or something to eat.
Y/n: Just water for me thanks.
Vernon: Me too.
Jin: Ok.
He then left to get water. And came back right away with two glasses of room temperature water. We both drank the water. Then Jin left us alone.
Vernon: So you told Jin about your parents and not me?
Y/n: He is a close friend since childhood and is the only one who I opened up about this. He understood well and comforted me during those hard time. I also didn't want to tell you because I thought you would judge me and leave me.
Vernon: I would never leave you.
Y/n: That's good to know.
We stayed quit for a minute then he spoke.
Vernon: Sorry but I have to go now. It was nice staying here for awhile. See you at school babe.
Y/n: Bye.
He gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. Then he left.
