Traverse Town - A New Group!

"Alfred?!" Cassie and Bart said in shock. The kindly old man walked down, smiling.

"Hey, who's he?" Sora asked the two. 

"Uh, he's Alfred Pennyworth. He runs a popular cafe here, and we live with him. Alfred, what are you doing here?" Bart asked, bewildered.

"I came to check on you. Master Leon said that you all had an encounter with some Heartless," Alfred said.

"Yeah, they're these things that are supposed to be-" Goofy was going to explain, then stopped. "Wait, you know about the Heartless?"

"I do." Jaws dropped in shock, even Cassie and Bart's.

"How?!" 

"Because the old man here, was part of our Organization this whole time." The heroes turned to see Leon, Yuffie and Aerith walking towards them.

"Leon? Yuffie?" Bart, Cassie, Sora and Courage said, surprised.

"Aerith?" Donald and Goofy said.

"I believe I asked you to NOT call me 'old man', Master Leon?" Alfred said with a stern look, which Leon ignored.

"So, you knew of the Heartless this whole time?" Cassie asked.

"Correct. And, so did someone else," Alfred said, as squeaking wheels could be heard. They turned to see Barbara Gordon smiling.

"Barbara!" The 2 went,  but Courage seemed to be reminiscing on something. Then it came to him. 

"Hey! She mentioned the Heartless! She said-" To everyone but Cassie's, Bart's, Alfred's and Barbara's surprise, he transformed into a look-a-like of Barbara. "'Dang it, they're here already?!'"

"Does he do this often?" Sora asked Bart.

"You get used to it," He replied.

"Ok, seriously, what?!"

"Alfred, we should now tell them the truth," Barbara said, and Alfred nodded.

"Settle in, everyone. This might be a lot to take in."

"When we landed in Traverse Town a few years ago, we had no idea how we ended up here. You and Master Bart seemingly couldn't remember much when we arrived, but me and Miss Barbara could. It seems we were the only ones who had arrived in Traverse Town."

"We then met Leon, and told him our story. Then we learned that we weren't the only ones. As you know, several of the people in Traverse Town have lost their worlds. But, then we learned of the Heartless," Barbara explained.

"After interviewing some of the people, we found that they could remember similar things. Dark creatures attacking them."

"The Heartless!" Donald injected.

"Correct. We believe the Heartless when they appear, seemingly cause disaster upon the world. We don't know how, but certain people are lucky enough to land in Traverse Town, while others aren't so lucky..."

There was silence for a moment, until Sora spoke up. "Wait, do they turn into a Heartless?" He asked. "We saw a man turn into one, a heart came out and his body disappeared!"

"Correct. They consume the hearts of innocents and turn them into another member of their army," Leon said. 

"It wasn't until we learned of the Keyblade that these Heartless could be harmed. And it appears our new visitors were searching for it's wielder as well," Aerith gestured towards Donald and Goofy, and the heroes turned towards the duck and dog.

"So, you were looking for me?" Sora asked, gesturing towards himself.

"Uh-huh! Our King told us to find the wielder of the Keyblade!" Goofy explained.
