Lilly's pov

I woke up at Mat's house, he was already awake. "Morning princess" "morning mat" "can I draw on you" I think he noticed how confused I was cuz he said "please" "um sure" I just layed there. He didn't draw with a pen or pencil he traced with his finger hearts on my arm. Specifically where my cut's well scars are. Today is his baseball game.

It's been a few hours Mat is at his game and I'm in the bleachers. He loves this sport. I love this sport. None of my friends are here they are all on a trip. So it's just me in the bleachers. I'm ok with that cuz that means no watching Liam and Mia be all lovey dovey. I can hand Kade and Jay cuz Kade just lays his head on Jay's shoulder or lap.

He won the game. Well his team won but saying my boyfriend won. Ahhh I still can't believe he's my boyfriend. I went from Issac, that toxic, manipulative, abusive excuse of a person to Mat, loveing, caring, kind Mat. Ahhh I love my life. After the game he ran up to me and hugged me. I think he likes that he can be open about us. That or his love language is physically touch.

I do flinch around him sometimes and he immediately hugs me. And says everything is ok and he's not gonna hurt me. I know that it's just I don't know what it's like to be treated right. Im glad me dad and friends aren't in town cuz Mat literary begs me to come over to his house. We cuddle and sometimes he'll pull me in his lap and I'll read with my head against his chest. When that happens he holds me or plays on his video games. He gets mad at them and it's the cutest thing ever. Because when he gets mad at them he puts the controller down and wrap's his arms around me.

He just sits there he'll burie his face into my hair and sit there. Once he calmed down he goes back to playing his game. This boy literally has my heart in his hands. If there was anyone I'd hand a loaded gun to and have them point it at my heart and me hope they don't pull the trigger it'd be him. "Princess I f*cking love you" as soon as he said that here came little Kailey. "Kailey" I said "wiwy" I was in Mat's lap and she ran over and sat on my lap. I wrapped my arms ayher and Mat wrapped his arms around both of us. I'm not gonna lie Kailey fell asleep, then I fell asleep, and then Mat fell asleep. So we all slept there like that.

It's the last day of school. Everyone's here. This year flew by. The bell rings summer break officially starts. Im about to be a senior. Everyone runs out of class me, Mat, Mia, Liam, Kade, and Jay all meet at the track. Even though we see each other over the break we've done this our whole lives but now we have Mat and Liam. We all sing each other's arms and then have a big group hug. Then the couples split up and go have their first date in summer. Mat and I went to the lake. "Funny isn't" I say "what" I confused him "the fact that this is were I always run to when I'm happy, sad, mad, bored anything and somehow your always here" I looked up at him and he looked down at me.

"Maybe this place reminds me of you princess" he leaned down and kissed me. It was a slow kiss. Only about 30 seconds though. But it was still nice. We sat and watched the water. We had music playing and there it was the best way to end the school year. The song came on May looked down at me "in the end" "it's him and I" "hey you did say it our way" I laughed a little and he repited "in the end" " it's you and I" " there it was princess" he leaned down and kissed me again best year ever.
