Have you ever felt such intense pain, whether mental or physical, that you wanted to shed all your emotions? This is a universal human experience, as we all have limits. It's precisely these feelings and emotions that make us human. I, for one, experience extremely strong emotions, and I'm not alone. Strong emotions can trigger a strong urge to break down, which inevitably happens. Do you see the connection? We're all constantly teetering on the edge of our limits, with some people being more skilled at managing their emotions than others. We often mask negative emotions with strong, positive ones, but the underlying feelings of dread and guilt persist, even after apologizing.
This example shows how others' emotions can impact our own. When we apologize and are accepted, we feel relieved, but if rejected, we feel terrible. This highlights why humans need social connections for emotional stability. Focusing too much on others' emotions at the expense of our own can make us want to change.
You can't change who you are at your core, just like you can't shake off something that's been deeply ingrained in you since you were a kid.
I've genuinely tried to change, but ultimately, I'm left with myself. Why do we change, exactly? Is it for the better or for the worse? We change for the sake of change in our lives, which can be either positive or negative. We simply crave a new experience.
