Now this whole dev diary will be filled with a whole lot of game related terms and random thoughts - just wanting to make a quick aside to anyone browsing.

Now, I like mixing game ideas. A lot of my ideas are "What if 'x' and 'y' happened to make 'z'?"
My first game idea was similar to this: What if 'Call of Duty Zombies mode' and 'playing the game with one hand' happened? This brought forth the game Z.O.H.A. (Zombies and the One Hand Army).
This game finished in March of 2024, just in time for my next game to begin production on April 1st, 2024 (no, not an April Fools prank).
Basically, I just had a weird idea of using rocket jumps for an obstacle course after playing some Fortnite with the bros (well, my only brother) and using the Shock Grenade to launch myself a good distance. I let this idea for a game mechanic simmer in my noggin while thinking of a way to make a simple game.
For some reason, dodging through vehicles came to mind and then Frogger. Now rocket jumping over vehicles would be super fun for Frogger, but might be too easy. Then it turns out - there are more than just land vehicles.
The other part of this is that at one point, I had started writing a story I had called Frogger Isekai as a joke during the height of the Isekai crazy. While I never finished that story, it does lend weight to my ideas of Frogger.
So that is where this game idea came from - Frogger played in 3rd person shooter with rocket jumps and trucks and airplanes. And depending on how well I am able to get this made, I may even actually make the Frogger Isekai story pan out in a story mode on this game - though that isn't a guarantee.
Anyway, welcome on this journey and welcome to Frogcket Launch.
