When the group made it to the hotel they split up into groups. Aiden, Tyler, Logan, and Ben all went to their shared hotel room. While Jessica, Taylor, and Ashlyn went to there's which they shared with two other girls on the trip. Their names were Emma and Sarah

The four girls were all playing uno when Ashlyn came out of the shower. "Hey, Ashlyn wanna play?" Taylor asked not noticing she was showing off her cards. "Tay your cards," Jessica covered them with her hand. "No, you guys go ahead I'm getting ready to go to bed," Ashlyn turned away heading to her room. "Already it's only 8:30," Taylor said shocked at the early time.

"I doubt she's already going to bed," Emma said looking at her cards. "She's probably just shy," Sarah replied. "Maybe I've never seen her talking to anyone at school is she bad at socializing or does she just hate it." Emma continued.

Jessica thought about it. She hasn't seen Ashlyn talk to anyone while growing up. She's tried every so often to start small talk but it never went any further. She just assumed it took a long time for Ashlyn to warm up to people. It seemed like that today.

"I think it just takes her a long time to get close to people," Jessica said placing a card down. "Uno," she had a cat-like smile. "What! How we just started the game." Taylor said putting her cards down away from her face.

The four girls played a couple more rounds of uno. Until the last round. The girls were laughing and enjoying each other's company. "You know Jess you're actually a really fun person than what everyone else says," Emma said between laughs. "What?" Jessica said with a lost expression. "You know like what everyone says." Emma continued placing a card down.

Jessica looked over at Taylor who had a disappointed face looking down at the table. "I'm getting tired I think we should go to bed," Sarah said with a stretch and yawn. "Yeah let's go," Taylor put her cards down. Jessica followed after her slowly behind. "Tay what do people say," Jessica said grabbing her wrist. "It's just childish rumors Jess please don't worry about it." She said trying to lighten the stress off of Jessica's shoulders.

Jessica was gonna continue to pray about the situation but was cut off by Taylor opening the door to Ashlyn bent over like she was a chair. Jessica and Ashlyn jumped grabbing onto each other not expecting Ashlyn to be awake at this time.

"Ah sorry are you guys ready to go to sleep," Ashlyn said getting up from her position. "Yeah, we weren't expecting you to be awake. You're pretty flexible do you do gymnastics or something." Taylor said trying to slow down her heart from beating out of her chest. "You mean we weren't expecting to be bent in half like that," Jessica slightly laughed.

"I do ballet," Ashlyn said. "Really? That's pretty cool." Taylor said trying to make conversation. "I guess" Ashlyn replied. Jessica stood there in the middle of them in silence watching the conversation quickly die out.

The three girls quickly went to bed Taylor lay face-front on the left while Jessica slept in the middle on her stomach starfished across the bed then Ashlyn slept on the right curled in a ball.

Each one of the girls was still awake thinking of the encounter early that day. "Do you think what we saw today was real?" Taylor said breaking the silence. Jessica sat up on her shoulders "I think so."
Ashlyn stayed silent. "Do you?" Taylor said towards Ashlyn, no answer.

"I'm not sure haha I didn't really get a good look. Ty insists it was a fake and ranted the entire way back to the bus." Taylor said looking over to Ashlyn. "Dont remind me he didn't shut up." Jessica said plopping her face on her pillow thinking of how long Tyler went on about the so-called 'ghost'. " you were the closest one to it so I thought you might have seen something we didn't." Both Taylor and Jessica were looking over at Ashlyn to see if she'd answer.
