Logan told Jessica everything that happened at lunch. Tyler and Ashlyn argued whether or not they should go back to Savannah. Jessica didn't have an opinion they both had points but she'd rather choose the best option that would stop the cycle.

Jessica sat through her last class watching the clock slowly count down. She fought her heavy eyes from shutting throughout the day. All she could think about was taking a nap or getting some kind of sleep. That would have to wait until she gets home.

Jessica packed up her bags making her way to the student council room. She passed by the mechanic's room looking in hoping to say hi to Taylor. She scanned the room looking for her friend but wasn't able to find her.

"Hey, is Taylor in here?" Jessica stopped one of the club members. "No, she hasn't been here for a couple of days now. But whenever you see her make sure to tell her that they'll kick her out if she doesn't start showing up." He said walking away. Jessica continued her way to the council room she stopped herself looking out the window and seeing the baseball field in the distance. She turned around heading to the field.

She had to walk to the other side of the school making it to the fields she saw the baseball team walking over. She saw Barron slowly walking behind the group. "Hey, Barron." She said stopping him. "Hey Jess what's up?" He said trying to fake a smile. "Has Tyler been showing up?" She asked ignoring how he responded. "He hasn't for a while now, not my problem though I fill in his spot so it's good for me," Barron said walking away with a wave "But tell your boyfriend he needs to start showing up or I'll take his position." Jessica shook her head rolling her eyes at Barron who was walking away with a small chuckle.

Jessica took out her phone texting her brother.

Zachariah

Do you have football?

It got canceled soccer's using the field today.
Why?

Don't you have council?

It got canceled.

Alright, I'll be there in five.

Jessica hasn't been over to the twin's house in a couple of years she's rarely ever been over. The last time she was there was to drop off the twins a couple of days ago. But she hadn't stepped into the house ever since she was six she and Taylor would have a rare play date at their house, most of the time it was at Jessica's.

Jessica felt a buzz from her pocket it was a message from her brother saying he was there to pick her up.

The car ride over was quiet the siblings didn't have much to talk about. It could've been the fact Jessica was trying to stay awake or Zach couldn't figure out why his sister started to act distant recently. Ever since the school trip, she's been off. Zach started to beat himself up over it feeling like he wasn't someone Jessica could come to. She was the only thing that kept him.

Zach looked over at his sister she was resting her head on the door slowly drifting to sleep. "Alright get out," Zach said tapping Jessie's shoulder. "Thank you." Jessica said getting out of the car "I'll text you when we're done." She finished closing the door and walking to the Hernandez household.

Jessica didn't think this far into her decision. She didn't understand why she cared so much if they weren't showing up it wasn't her job to tell them they'll get kicked out of their activities. It was a small thought in the back of her mind telling her how much the twins really needed baseball and the mechanics club for college. She didn't want them to ruin that.
