Chapter Three

Sohyun’s POV

I slowly walk in to my house and fall down on the couch. I’m disappointed in myself. I’m not a paparazzi that walk to the celebrities and take close pictures, no I’m that kind of paparazzi that take pictures when no one notice me. Therefore I failed today, I’m a failure. My dad wouldn’t be proud of me if he was here. I put on the TV and start to watch the Korean drama Reply 1997, it’s in the middle of the series so I don’t understand so much. I sigh and shut of the TV. What should I do now? The clock is only 12. I stand up and start walking around in my small house. Aish I need to do something now before I die from loneliness. After 10 minutes I’m sitting in front of the computer and just looking around on the news and Twitter. Nothing special of course. Sometimes I wish that I would have chosen another work. I sometimes just want to go to the office and say to Joonho that I quit, but no I would never do that. I know that I’m still young and don’t know much about life but I’ve already decided my career, and I won’t change it no matter what.

Peniel’s POV

After about half an hour we head back to our dorm because we don’t want to risk that she comes back or that another paparazzi comes by. We don’t talk much but everyone is depressed. I know it’s not a big thing that someone takes pictures of us without us knowing, we should be used to it. But still… we don’t find it nice, they don’t have any respect for us at all, especially not her. I know that she’s young and don’t know what she’s doing but I hope that her camera will brake and that she gets fired.
 “Peniel what are you thinking of?” Changsub says and wave with his hand in front of my eyes and I shake my head.
 “Sorry I spaced out” I say and look at him
 “Like always then” Ilhoon says and giggle
 “Peniel and Changsub say hi to the camera!” Hyunsik shouts and turns the camera to us
 “Anneyong Melodies! We won’t have work for two months so be ready to see us by the Han River or something” I say and smile
 “Yaah say something to the English melodies to, they don’t understand Korean” Eunkwang says
 “Hello not Korean melodies, we won’t have work for two months so now is your chance to come here to Seoul and maybe see us!” I say and Hyunsik nods behind the camera
 “We are… Born To Beat! Thank you for watching BTOB Diary!” we all shout and then Hyunsik turns of the camera.
 “So what should we do tomorrow?” Sungjae asks.
 “Its Friday right?” Ilhoon asks
 “That means that me and Minhyuk will head to the gym!” Hyunsik shouts
 “Yaah that’s not fair, you two always go to the gym!” Sungjae whines
 “Then follow with us then” Minhyuk says
 “Can I?”
 “Of course you can!” Hyunsik smiles
 “Yay thank you hyungs!”

Sohyun’s POV

I walk around in Seoul and stop in front of the big shopping center. Should I walk in even if I don’t feel like shopping? I nod for myself and walk in, just because I don’t have anything else to do.
I look around and walk in to a shop and start looking at the cameras. Maybe I should by one that isn’t for work. Yepp, I just need to find one that is good enough for me!
I look around for about half an hour and then finally decide. I pay for it and then walk out from the shop. Some girls around my age who is eating looks at me and glare but I just walk by.
 “Hey you!” they shout and I turn around and look at them
 “Yes?” I ask
 “Come closer” one of them says and smirks. I hesitate for a moment but then walk a few steps closer, I’m in front of them now “Sit down” she says and I shake my head
 “No it’s okay, I’m in a hurry” I say and give them a fake smile
 “Oh now you’re in a hurry” the second girl says
 “I don’t understand, what do you mean?”
 “I’m talking about what you did to our precious SHINee”
 “SHINee? I’ve never met them in my whole life, but I would love to” I lie, they know…
 “Oh so that you can destroy their career once and for all?” the third girl says
 “Destroy their career? I would never destroy their career”
 “Stupid liar! Don’t you think we know who you are?! You lied and told the magazines that SHINee is not nice at all! How dare you?!” the fourth girl shouts.
 “I need to go now” I say and quickly walk away
 “You think you’re a professional paparazzi but all you do is destroying people’s lives! Go to hell Lee Sohyun!” one of them shouts but I just ignore her
I often meet people like them. No one understands the burden of being a paparazzi. Have to look for celebrities day and night, we barely have any sleep. And all they do is hating us, everyone. Both fans and famous people, they don’t show respect for us at all.
