Yoongi POV

I had a good childhood and grew up in a happy home. We weren't the richest or had the biggest house, but it was cozy, and always filled with joy and warm meals. My parents met each other young; it's not too often that soulmates find each other in elementary school.

Eventually, they grew up, got married, and had two kids, my older brother and myself. Since I was the youngest of my family, I was babied of course.

I grew up seeing the love and bond between soulmates; my parents were so in love that I saw it my whole life. I grew up wanting and hoping to find that connection and love with my soulmate.

When I became a teenager, I prayed and hoped I would hear those damn bells ringing in my ears. It never came, and all the way through junior high and high school, it was relatively silent.

I told myself I would wait for my soulmate...So instead of finding love in a person, I found love in music and songs.

Instead of studying for my college entrance exams, I decided to attend auditions for entertainment companies to become an artist or producer. I went to audition after audition, rapping freestyle, showing them I had skills and that I was worth the risk.

I promised my parents that if I didn't get scouted by a company by the time I graduated high school I would go to college any college. Hate to admit it, but my grades weren't the best so community college was in my future. I wasn't dumb just easily distracted.

I was in my geometry class when my Motorola Moto G 3rd generation vibrated in my pocket. I peeked around me making sure the teacher and those students who would snitch weren't looking at me. I carefully pulled out my phone and checked my messages.

It was an email from a company

I didn't wanna get too excited right away. It could be a rejection email. I've gotten tons of those before so I wasn't too excited.

I peeked up at the teacher again, and he was still talking about geometry, but who cares about that?

I clicked on the email opening it up eyes scanning a few sentences they wrote, but only a few words stood out to me.

YOU HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED AS A TRAINEE AT BIGHIT ENTERTAINMENT

I never let out of gasp so loud in my life it echoed in the room. I stood up so fast the chair scraped the ground I snapped to myself, but I didn't care. I felt like celebrating.

so I did.

"OH MY GOD!" I geeked out and sounded a happy dance "HELL YES!" I giggled "I GOT IN! I GOT IN!" I cheered
