Yoongi POVThe spring weather was warm and sweet; the smell of fresh, blooming flowers scented the air, and the warm rays of sunlight kissed my skin. It was mid-February, and we were backstage at M-Count. We were booked for a performance today; it was Valentine's Day. It was a busy day for idols. We had to play up the cutest act for the camera and the fans. I didn't mind; it made the fans happy.
Valentine's Day was also special because all the idols backstage gave gifts to their crushes. It was so high school, and it made sense because we were all 15–25-year-olds. It was cheesy embarrassing, and full of drama if two girls from the same group had a crush on Xiumin from EXO or Jaebum from Got7, two very popular boys.
We already went on stage and performed "Coffee" since it fit the Valentine's Day theme, so we were chilling backstage in our dressing room. Until Taehyung and Seokjin came busting through the door, arms full of gifts.
"We are here! Cupids" Taehyung smirked I peeked up from the couch I was sitting on with Jungkook; my head was on his thigh as he played Candy Crush on his phone.
"You guys got gifts?" Namjoon asked. He was sitting on the floor in front of Jungkook. He was always around Jungkook, glued to him.
Seokjin and Taehyung dumped the gifts on the empty table. "Are they from fans?" Hoseok asked. He was sitting in a lounge chair in the corner, and Jimin was on the chair next to him.
Taehyung grinned. "Nope, they are for me! And Jin Hyung," he smiled, picking up a single flower and putting it in his hair. "The girls were really cute if I only swung that way," he sighed.
I see Hoseok visibly relax, which makes me roll my eyes. "They aren't just for us." Seokjin grinned as he picked up a box of chocolates and a bunch of other little gifts.
"One is for Jungkook-ah," Seokjin said, handing Jungkook the box of chocolates, causing Namjoon to snap his head up and eye the chocolates like they cursed his family. "The others are for Jimin," he smirked, dropping three gifts into Jimin's lap. Now I snapped my head up, feeling what Namjoon was feeling.
"Jimin-ah, you are so popular." Hoseok chuckled, pitching Jimin's cheek, who swatted his hand away.
I sat up with a frown because, of course, Jimin is popular with the girl idols; he is charming and handsome; he has kind eyes and a beautiful smile...
He is so out of my league
Jimin smiled and took the gifts "Wow that's sweet do they have names?" He asked and I frowned even more my heart aching a little.
"One is from Wendy from Red Velvet she was so cute telling me to give it to you she put her number on it" Seokjin winked sitting down next to me and Jungkook.
Jimin and I locked eyes for a second but I quickly looked away as Namjoon snatched Jungkook's chocolates from him "Who are these from?" He huffed which made everyone chuckle.
