Quick update before my final note on Nezzar...

My latest story is up. This has no bible history roots... obviously. Just pure fantasy from start to finish.

Final Note on Nezzar

Thanks to everyone who stuck with Nezzar. I kid you not when I say I didn't expect folks to keep reading at some point. I'll see reads and be like, "Huh? Okay... I guess we're still doing this." When I realised I had only one or two chapters to go, I legit felt like throwing a party... and that's saying a lot cause I never feel like throwing parties.

Here are some facts about writing Nezzar:

1. The most difficult POV to write was Abaddon, and Daniel was a close second.

2. The easiest POV was Nezzar's (who's my fav character btw) and Ziba was a close second. Currently imagining a chibi art of toddler Ziba and my heart squeezed at the cuteness.

3. Daniel and his friends were eunuchs. In fact, all the captured noble-born boys were. Doubt me? Check out Ishiah 39v7. Even though I knew this detail, I couldn't write such brutality because I'm weak. I rather write a decapitation scene—the irony.

4. Nezzar probably had a gazillion concubines. I focused on Amytis because she was his only recorded wife. And since Nezzar was a war nut, I figured all the strength he would have channelled into womanizing went to obsessing with warfare.

5. Nezzar has about 200k word count. I believe Nezzar will benefit from some hardcore editing (fixing plot holes, axing unnecessary characters etc.) But I'm likely to never do that because the thought of editing 200k words is just straight-up torture.

6. I'll be doing something mundane like brushing my teeth or doing the dishes and ideas for the next chapter flood in without me even trying. Bruh, it has to be God cause I know how salt-dry my head was around this time last year. Picture me kneeling at the pew, rosary in hand and fervently praying to my heavenly Father to give me inspo. And inspo did pour in... several months after.

This was a hectic but fun ride.

Judges: It's as the title says

Judges: It's as the title says. It will contain stories from the book of Judges. I plan to self-publish this one though. But if I give up on that route, I'll just publish it here. 50/50 kinda thing.

Thanks again to all my readers, and see you in the next one.
