INT. SALON - AFTERNOON

1:09 p.m.

Maurice was getting her roots touched up and Robin was currently getting herself a hot oil treatment when a girl, probably in her early thirties, gave Maurice a kiss on the cheek.

Robin stared a bit in awe. The girl was tall and slender and definitely stunning.

Miggie
Mom! Hi! Sorry I'm late. I got caught up lang slight sa traffic. Where's Robin?

Maurice
Oh, she's here!

Maurice reached for Robin's hand on the armrest. Miggie also leaned closer to her for a cheek to cheek kiss.

Miggie
Hi! Nice to meet you! You're so pretty pala in person! Mom sent me your picture and I was really so excited to meet you! Sorry I'm late.

Robin
Ah . . . ano, okay lang. Nice to meet you rin saka thank you.

Miggie
I'm Miggie pala, Mikey's older sister!

Miggie sat down beside Robin's chair.

Robin
Miggie talaga name mo? O nickname din?

Miggie
Yup! Nickname lang. It's really Arissa Mignonette, but that's too long. My high school best friends gave me Miggie as a nickname and it just kind of got stuck. Nahawa na rin sila Mikey. They used to call me M before. Which is so sad kasi isang letter lang parang ang tamad ng name ko.

Maurice
You kept on whining about it.

Miggie
E, kasi naman! Of all the things you could name me, why is it only a letter? Haba ng real name ko then 'yong nickname ko kulang-kulang? There's no in between!

Robin smiled, realizing the similarities of Maurice, Miggie, and Mikey.

Robin
Ang cute.

Miggie
Me? Thanks!

Robin
Oo.

Miggie
Did you eat na ba? I'm so hungry. I rushed here kasi hindi na ako kumain ng lunch.

Robin
Kaya kong kumain ulit.

Maurice
Sure, let's eat after.
Nearly done na rin kami.

Miggie
Thank god! I'm starving na talaga.
Do you eat ramen?
I'd love a warm bowl of ramen!

Robin
Oo naman!

Miggie
Let's eat a lot ha!
I want karaage din and gyoza.

Robin
Sure! Buti pala medyo kaunti lang nakain ko kanina. Malaki-laki pa kaha ko dito—

Miggie
I hope my pamangkin likes ramen, too! Congrats ulit! I was so surprised and shocked about the news! Mikey didn't tell me about his girlfriend until I saw his post on IG! Tapos sinabihan niya pa si Mom na 'wag ako sabihan kaya I'm super tampo. Hindi kami bati, makita niya!
