Chapter 9

Meryl stood on the balcony and breathed, listening to the sound of the waves crashing down and feeling the comfort of the wind.

She felt two large arms on her shoulders

"Oh my gosh, you scared me"

"Really babe, I scared you? We're the only ones in this room"

"I don't know, I just wasn't expecting you to be awake"

"Neither am I. But I couldn't feel my Meryl beside me"

"Sorry, I was just enjoying this"

"This?"

"Everything here... Hey did you receive any phone calls or anything? You know, from Val or something"

"Not that I know of, why?"

"Nothing, I was just wondering since it's been more than a week and no one's actually looking for us"

"Here, this is our time and no one is going to ruin that" he trailed kisses down her neck

Meryl's stomach started rumbling

"Was that a bear or something?" Maks joked

"Nope, it could be Boris or Oleg though" she laughed

"Are we ever going to get over that?"

"Not when there's a full clip of you saying it spread all over the internet. Once we have kids, I'll be sure to show them how their father was going to name them Boris and Oleg"

"As long as they're our kids and not anybody else's I'll be perfectly fine with that" he said, kissing her again

"And if we don't get food anytime soon I'll tell them how you're starving me to death"

"Alright, alright. As long as you don't eat too much, I have dinner reserved for us tonight and you may want to get the most out of it"

"Maks, if you're not going to let go of me and let me shower, we may not eat at all"

"You know, if you wanna go faster, we could just shower together"

"Fine, now could you at least get us both to the bathroom if you're not interested in letting go of me?"

"Consider it done"
