Unconditional Love

Chapter 11

She didn't know what she was gonna do, she just knew that she needed to get out of there. She packed her things and changed her flight. She took her luggage and left.

'It's over' she whispered to herself

He came in their hotel room and looked for her. Nobody. All her things were gone. He tried calling her phone and yet no answer. Sitting on the edge of the bed, he brushed his hair back. "Where the hell are you?" He thought to himself. Not knowing what to do, he opened his laptop. Surprised that a site was already opened, he started reading it.

"Shit. That leaves in 2 hours" he muttered

He grabbed his coat and went to the door. Just as he was about to open it, he noticed a small note stuck on it. 'don't come after me'. Not caring about what it said he walked out and quickly got onto a cab. Just of his luck, the traffic was terrible

"How long will it take me to walk to the airport?" He asked the driver

"From here, about 45 minutes"

"How much longer will it take for us to get there with the cab?"

"At this rate, I'm not sure. I'll give you a range between one and one and a half hour"

"I'll just walk, here's the money. Keep the change"

He jumped out of the cab and started running. He was out of breath when he made it. He realized he didn't think it through enough when he was about to go through baggage check.

"Ticket and passport please?"

"I'm just here to get my girlfriend. She's making a mistake"

"Sir, may I please see your ticket and passport please?"

"Lady, please just let me through"

"Unless you have your ticket and passport, I'm not letting you through"

"God dammit lady"

"Sir, if you don't step out of the lane, I will have to call security"

He ran past her and through the baggage check. Something else he hadn't realized was that he didn't know what gate the plane was going to depart from. Unfortunately, the cops had found him.

"Sir, you're coming with us" they said, cuffing his hands together

"You're making a mistake"

"The only mistake we made was not getting you earlier."

They brought him to the car and left to the police station.

"Well would you look at that, you're Maksim Chmerkovskiy from Dancing With The Stars. So tell me, what the hell were you attempting to do at the airport?" A cop asked him

"I was just trying to get my girlfriend."

"Yeah? And why is that? Couldn't she make her own decisions?"

"It's none of your concerns"

"It is if you barged through the airport for it. Now speak up buddy"

"Just let me go"

"You see Maks, we don't care weather you're a celebrity or some homeless man. We treat everyone the same. You're staying here for the night"

They took him to a cell and let go of his cuffs.

She arrived at LA in the morning. Taking out her phone, the screen read 7 missed calls from Maks. She swiped past it and called Sharna.

"Sharna?"

"Hey! What's up?"

"Do you think I could stay over at your place?"

"She's fine, you don't have to be that worried. Just enjoy your time at Hawaii"

"I'm outside"

"I could only imagine how beautiful the view is"

"No Sharna, I'm outside your house"

Sharna walked down the stairs and to the front door

"You're kidding. There's no one at-" she dropped the phone the second she opened the door

"Hey"

"Meryl, what the hell are you doing here? You're supposed to be in Hawaii for another week"

"Can I come in?"

"Yeah."

"Is she alright?"

"Yeah, she's still sleeping upstairs"

"That's good"

"What happened babe?"

"What do you mean?"

"You know what I'm talking about. Where is he?"

"Hawaii. He got tempered up last night while we were having dinner. I left without telling him"

"He knows?"

"Yeah. Val probably called him while I was in the bathroom"

"I'm sorry babe"

"I'll be fine"

"Meryl?" Another voice called

"Hey Jenna!" She ran up to her and hugged her

"I thought I heard a familiar voice!"

"I missed you so much! How are you?"

"I'm good!"

Sharna smiled at the two "anyone want breakfast?" She asked

"Sure! I'm starving" Jenna replied

"I'll help" Meryl said
