Chapter 2

okay guys I decided to not make this into a sequel. Sorry this took so long

Almost giving up, Meryl called Maks hoping that he could somehow help.

"Hey" Meryl sighed
"Hey babe, Is everything alright? You sound exhausted"
"I am. I'll only tell you if you promise to not tell Val. Really don't want him to freak out"
"Meryl seriously, what happened?"
"I can't find Jenna anywhere."
"You what?"
"Jenna's gone"
"Whoa wait a second, did you check the whole house?"
"Yes! No one could find her"
"Okay wait a sec, I'll ask Val if he know where she would go"
"Maks"
"Relax, I'm not going to tell him. I'll just ask where she usually goes while she's alone"
Meryl waited, hoping Maks didn't do anything stupid.
"Try going to the garden nearby"
"Okay, thanks Maks"
"No problem babe, just please make sure she's ok"
"I will"
Meryl grabbed her keys and raced towards her car. Just before opening the door leading outside Sharna had caught up to her.
"Wait Meryl! Where are you going?"
"I think I may know where Jenna is, we really need to find her"
"I know we do, let me come with"
"okay, we need to go quick. We only have a few hours and I doubt Jenna is in any state of being ready"
The two hopped in the car and drove to the garden. It wasn't big and was quite empty. They looked around the garden for 5 minutes.
Nothing..
They sat down on the bench hopeless.
"Sorry, I just thought she might be here" Meryl said, despaired
"It's fine. Don't put so much weight on yourself." Sharna replied trying to comfort her.
Then silence had taken over. Or at least for Meryl. Sharna was listening to everything around her, and then she finally heard it. She jumped to her feet and started walking to a tree, leaving Meryl confused. Meryl walked towards her as Sharna pointed to the back of the tree. They both saw her, sobbing in her own arm with her knee crouched up to her chest.
"Oh my god Jenna, there you are!" Meryl said relieved
Jenna looked up to see the two in front of her
"What's wrong Jen?" Sharna asked before Jenna covered her face again. You could see it, she'd been crying for hours.
"You shouldn't be here" Jenna mumbled
"It's your wedding day, we wouldn't just let you disappear like that" Meryl said crouching down next to her
"I can't get married, not like this" Jenna said
"That's why we need to get you back and get you all ready" Sharna said
"That's not it"
"Then what is it?" Meryl asked
"I can't, I just.." Jenna stopped, took something from her purse and handed it to both of them.
"You're pregnant?!?" Meryl & Sharna gasped looking at the ultrasound pictures
"Thats not the part I'm worried about..The thing is.. Val & I never had..."
"Jenna Michelle Johnson, are you saying that you cheated on Val?!" Sharna shouted
"I thought that I would just get a drink or two. I didn't think that I'd get that drunk"
"Why didn't you tell us sooner?" Meryl asked
"Meryl, you live with his brother! What do you expect me to tell you?!"
"Okay fine, but how far along are you?"
"A month and a half"
"Oh" Meryl said, not knowing what to say next
"Well I'd love to sit here and chat but we have to be at your wedding in 3 hours" Sharna said staring at the time on her phone
"I'm not going" Jenna said shrugging her shoulder
"Jenna, you have to. Think about everyone who have sacrificed their time for you. Think about Val. He loves you, you can't just abandon him." Meryl uttered
And the crying came back. Meryl wrapped her arms around her best friend who was now drenched in tears
"Sharna could you please call Maks and tell him the weddings canceled" Meryl requested. Sharna nodded and scrolled through her contacts until she found Maks. It started ringing
once

"Hello?"
