Chapter Eighteen:

Nia's POV
After the allegations, I have been hitting a rough path. Dad not happy with my behavior and told me I needed to go see a therapist before it got worst. But I refused to talked about the problem I endorsed especially with the public finding out about my business. It's bad enough my family has been super over protective ever since they found out. None of them want to leave my sight. Seeing what people are saying online about me about how I deserved to be SA, wasn't cool that's when dad had to put a stopped to it and we had to come to the internet to share my truth. 

A lot of people in my dad's fandom were on my support even before we spoke up about the incident. That's what I love about my dad's supporters because they never judge anything my dad or uncle's do let alone kids. I think the world is in shock that kids like me aren't protected in the industry.

What sucks is that most people blamed my dad for not protecting me, when it wasn't his fault. He felt so guilty for not being there enough and when the people told him it was his fault for not being able to protect me.

He told me he had failed as a father because it was his job to protect me but I told him, he did because most parents would ignore this but he didn't. He immediately took charge of the situation and made sure the bastard was thrown in jail. My dad will always remain my hero.

I seen so many YouTubers talked about my situation that said I shouldn't have access to social media during the time, and they were right, I shouldn't but I also had the rights to tell my story because their was so many false accusations.

But.. what hurts the most is that Sophie hasn't even tried to reach out to me, ever since my dad and Sophie separation she hasn't been around much and dad is getting sick of Sophie not being around for their daughters.

I miss our little family it sucks we can't be a normal family like how it was before. Why does being 13 sucks.

I was on tour with my dad and uncles and I went back to home school of course. It was about to be my dad's birthday and dad was about to let the public know about the divorce. Sophie can say all she want that she didn't know about the divorce, but she knew, she knows everything. They were separated for a while but dad never told me why and I didn't care, she didn't bothered to reach out, but before the news broke out dad wanted to spend one peaceful day because he knew that the divorce was about to get messy and that people were not going to be on his side because the people always pick the sides of the females.

Nia: Uncle Nick
Nick: yeah?
Nia: can you help me with dad's present
Nick: sure? What?
Nia: I wanna sing at his birthday show
Nick: really? Are you up for that?
Nia: uh huh, I wanna sing him one of his favorite songs of mine and I want to bring my close friend Jojo with me since she star in it, but how can I do rehearsal without dad knowing
Nick: don't worry will figured it out. But I'm glad you wanna do something special for him
Nia: yeah with what's going on between him and Sophie. I want to do something special for his night
Nick: I know sweetheart. How you dealing with that by the way
Nia: fine... why you ask?
Nick: no reason... you just been acting different... like not yourself lately
Nia: dad told you didn't he
Nick: yeah... really Nia, stealing from family
Nia: my friend was in trouble she needed my help
Nick: from jail?
Nia: look... she may not have the best reputation but she still a good friend
Nick: friends don't make you do bad things
Nia: don't worry about it, dad making me pay it off
Nick: you know that person got fired because of you
Nia: I know... but if dad knew the truth then he wouldn't have fired her.
Nick: what is the truth Nia? That show runner we hired was supposed to be protecting you. Not making you do bad things
Nia: than maybe you guys should have done a better job at the background check
Nick: Nia...
Nia: *sighs* fine, the reason she really joined tour because she was getting away from the people in her neighborhood. She done bad things to them and they were looking for her
Nick: how did they know where to look for her?
Nia: I don't know, she thought it was a safe space because she would be traveling a lot. She's worried for her brother Uncle Nick
Nick: is that the other person you help bailed out
Nia: yeah... that's why it was 1,200 dollars, but I swear I didn't know the second half of the money was to bail him out too
Nick: I need to tell your dad
Niall: noooo Uncle Nick please, he'll punish me for not telling him the whole truth. He asked me if there was more stuff he needed to tell him now or if he find out later I'm getting the belt, pleaseeee
Nick: Nia... this is information you should have told your dad from begin with
Nia: okay, but before you tell him, Iet me have time to escape
Nick: or... we can tell him together
Nia: I like my idea better
