Chapter 19:

Nia's POV
We spend Memorial Day at my Uncle Kevin's house with the whole family, except Sophie. I got to hang out with my cousins and sisters. Alena was starting to ask questions about Aunt Sophie but I couldn't tell her, it wasn't my business to say. I sat alone while the girls played in the pool and dad came over to me and said.

Joe: hey... why aren't you in the pool?
Nia: *shrugs shoulder*
Joe: something is bothering you but, what is it?

Nia bites her bottom lip and looks up at her dad and he sat down next to her.

Joe: remember what the therapist said, we got to learn to share our feelings
Nia: I'm worried about what will happened to our family when everything will get out into the press.
Joe: hey... you let me worry about that. I don't want you worrying about anything
Nia: but I'm scared dad, and worried that I might never see my sisters again. What if Sophie moves them to London
Joe: don't worry, Sophie can't do anything once everything is filed. She knew this day was coming, we have sent her out warnings
Nia: *sighs* okay
Joe: hey don't worry about it, everything is fine. I told the family and they know what's going to happened in the next few months
Nia: you sent her warnings?
Joe: yeah
Nia: and she didn't bothered to reach out
Joe: her people claims she's been busy filming movie
Nia: of course
Joe: hey... everything will be okay. Trust me, it will all work out *kiss her forehead* your dad has a plan and it will be okay, I promise
Nia: *sighs* okay...
Joe: *puts arm around her* I promise everything going to work out

I was on the tour bus doing my school work going to next city with my dad and uncles. I was being home schooled for 8th grade. We got words that the tmz article was coming out today and soon everyone will be talking about the divorce. We know that people will hate my dad for posting the story about Sophie, so My dad had took my phone away so I wouldn't see what people were talking about on social media.

I wish people would stop assuming things about celebrities based on what they read, only the people around them knew how they really act and my dad has been nothing but a good father. Beside his relationship with females in the past he shouldn't be judge for things he done in the past, because he is not like that anymore.

Joe: *comes in * well it's out
Nia: how are people taking it? Are the public on your side
Joe: *gives me look* what do you think? People saying I'm trashing my baby mama and bringing up my dating history, calling me the bad guy
Nia: this is ridiculous, just because you're a man, they always take the side of the females. They don't know what we been through alone this past month! Sophie hasn't even been here!
Joe: oh they're saying I'm the reason she hasn't been working. That's not my fault, that the actors/actress have been on strike

I'm so tired of the narrative being spin on my dad, miss Sophie, you're not going to get away with this.

When my dad was out of sight feeling bomb, I went on my laptop and started writing a paragraph about the situation, and then I posted it on my twitter. I decided to look at it later, and stayed focus on my school work, like I haven't been doing anything wrong.

When we arrived at the venue, we met up with my dad and uncle's at rehearsal for their show tonight. I stayed with my Uncle Mikey, and we hung out, when we got back to my dad's dressing room, dad and uncle's were not happy when they saw me.

Mikey: hey... we're back!
Nia: what's going on?
Joe: did you write this?

Dad showed me twitter post that I posted earlier when I was in school. It had gotten a lot of attraction from the post, but I didn't get a chance to read the comments..
