Not Alone

Bobby turned around and dropped her ears, Dogday held the gun tight, getting closer.

Huggy "DogDay... What are you doing..?"

Bobby "Dogday..."

Dogday moved closer and eventually passed Bobby. Bobby turned around, relieved but confused. Dogday kicked a door open and started firing. Three zombies hit the ground and he sighed. Tears pricked Dogday's eyes and he looked at Bobby.

Dogday "You thought I was gonna fucing shoot you..."

Bobby "DogDay I-"

Dogday "Just..... Leave me alone..." He growled before walking away

Dogday went to the other side of the store and went into the staff only room. He looked around at all the boxes before walking over to a large one. He tracked down and dragged over a giant purple squish mallow and put it in the box before getting in and wrapping around it. He ended up falling asleep. It almost felt like home. Dim lit, small space and a purple, soft thing to hold close. Dogday finally got a good night's rest.

•--Some Time Later--•

Dogday woke up, tail wagging.

Dogday "Good morning, Nappy..." He yawned as he cuddled closer to the plush

Dogday realized after a second what he said and where he was. Dogday started to cry before looking at the ring on his hand.

Dogday "Oh Moon... Where are you..?" He sobbed

Outside the staff room Huggy, Picky and Bobby played a game a uno. Picky put down her last card and smiled. Huggy growled and Bobby laid down her last two. Huggy threw his cards.

Huggy "Thas not fair! The card says sleep with DogDay or draw 25!!" He snarled

Bobby "I know"

Picky "I would not draw 25"

Bobby "Because its Dogday..."

Picky "What? I'd try"

Huggy "You are both perverts"

•--Later That Night--•

Everyone was cuddled up in their beds, nice and comfy, sleeping peacefully. Dogday however was rolling around and whimpering. Dogday woke up, looking around. He looked at Catnap, standing at the foot of his bed.

Dogday "Nappy..?" He said with tears in his eyes

Catnap just stood there, DogDay ran over and went to hug him.

Catnap "It's your fault."

Dogday "What..?"

Catnap "It is your fault. You crashed the car. You're the reason I'm dead."

Dogday "Y- you can't be dead... You- you have to be out there.. waiting for me-"

Catnap "If you actually think I'd wanna see you then you're dumber than I thought."

Dogday "I love you..."

Catnap "At least one of us feels that way towards the other."

Dogday "I'm sorry I-"

Catnap smacked him. Dogday teared up and looked at all his friends. Kicken' apologized before pointing out DogDay was crying and talking in his sleep. Dogday started sobbing before running into the staff only room. Huggy followed him and the other two stayed behind. Dogday looked at him. Huggy wrapped around him. Dogday gave in and hugged him back.

Huggy "I know it's hard... I understand losing someone so close to you..."

Dogday "I've known him for almost 20 years..."
