~Y/N's POV~ "Come on, Y/N!" My brother, Colby shouts. "Hold on!" I yell back. I finish putting my second earring in, straighten out my dress and slide some vans on. Grabbing my purse and jacket, I leave my room to be met with Colby. "So you have the be the prettiest girl at the party?" He says exaggerating the last part, quoting that Tiktok. "Shut up, let's go." I roll my eyes. Colby chuckles and Sam walks out of his room. We walk downstairs, get into Sam's car and drive to the creator party. I didn't even want to come but Colby wouldn't leave me alone about it.
"You need friends your age." "Sam and I can't be your only friends." "You can't be a hermit your whole life."
His words clouded my mind and before I knew it, we arrived. Sam parked the car and we got out. "IT'S THE HAUNTED GUYS!" I hear someone scream. We look toward the voice and see it was Seth. They start to make their way to him and I follow.
I'm really not in the mood to socialize.
We walk inside to see a bunch of creators drinking and dancing. I make my way to an empty corner of the living room as the boys went off to socialize.
I pull my phone of my pocket and slide down the wall, laying my legs to my side, opening it to my book.
~Matt's POV~ "Why are we here?" I ask. Nick rolls his eyes. "We were invited by Larray." Nick repeats. I groan. "I get that, but why did we come?" I ask, emphasizing the why. "To have fun." Chris says, nudging my shoulder.
I'm really not in the mood to socialize.
We enter the house, greeted by the smell of alcohol. I look around to see a bunch of creators that I've never met but heard of, then a girl. Sitting in the corner on her phone. I look up to see Sam and Colby are near her.
Well, at least they are here.
I walk over to them. "Hey Matt!" Colby says going in for a hug. "Hey, how are you guys?" I ask, returning the hug. "Good! Great party!" Colby yells over the music. I look down at the girl and she rolls her eyes at him. I look up at Colby. "That's my younger sister, Y/N." He says. I nod my head and turn to see Nick with two sodas in his hand. He hands one to me. "Hey guys!" Nick says smiling. "Hey!" Sam and Colby say together. "Where did you get this?" I ask Nick. "The fridge." Nick responds. I make my way to the kitchen and grab an extra soda. I walk back over to where I last saw Sam, Colby and Nick. They are gone now but I look down to see Y/N. I cautiously sit down next to her and offer her the soda. She looks up at me and smiles. "Thank you." She says. I scoot closer to her so I can hear her over the music. "I'm Matt." I say, extending my hand. "Y/N." She says, taking my hand.
