~Y/N's POV~
"Good luck on your test, sweetie!" My dad shouts.
"Thank you." I reply, leaving my house.
I have a math exam today and I'm really nervous. It's not a big test grade wise, but I've usually not been good with tests. For this one I was up all night studying and I'm running on like an hour of sleep.
I walk down the street to see my boyfriend Chris and his brothers waiting for me.
"Are you nervous?" Matt asks.
I nod. He's in the same math class as me.
"Same. I heard the teacher is a jerk when it comes to tests." He groans.
I sigh and walk over to Chris.
He pulls me into a hug and hands me a Redbull from his bag.
"Thank you, this was needed." I smile.
He smiles down at me, interlocks our hands and we make our way to school.

As we arrive, we see some people hanging out outside and before we can get inside, someone yells Chris' name.
We turn to see Cassidy.
Great.
Some backstory, Cassidy is my old best friend. Since she started "popping off" on TikTok she dropped me as a friend and has since been trying to get with Chris.
"Hey! I saw your new TikTok." She says, blatantly flirting.
"Thanks." He chuckles softly, a bit confused.
She runs back to her friends and we all give each other puzzled expressions.
We walk into school and go to our normal hang out spot by the basketball court before school starts.
"Did you study?" Matt asks.
"All night." I sigh, resting my head on Chris' shoulder.
"I hope we do good." He says softly.
"Same." I reply.
The bell rings and we get up and head to our classes.
Matt and I walk in and sit next to each other as the class files in.
Mr. Tanner is sitting at his desk, waiting for us to all get in class and when the second bell rings, he stands and hands us our tests.
"You will have the full period to complete this test." He says making his way back to his desk.
The third bell rings.
"The test begins now." He says.
I sigh and start working on the test.
Please don't fuck us over with this test.

About halfway through, I'm feeling incredibly confident that I'm doing well. A few people have finished already which freaks me out a little but I keep my focus on the test.
Once I'm done, I get up from my seat and hand him my test.
He immediately starts grading it which raises my anxiety a little.
I'm gonna know if I failed or passed today?

I space out a bit until I look at the clock to see 5 minutes left of class.
Looking around the room, I see that everyone is done.
"Wow, I'm really disappointed." The teacher says, standing from his desk.
Disappointed??
He starts walking around the class, handing out the tests and once I get mine, my heart drops.
AN F!?! I'VE NEVER GOTTEN AN F IN MY LIFE!!
I know I said I wasn't the best with tests but never F worthy!
The teacher walks back to the front of the class leaving all of us stunned.
"Now, I'm not the devil so I will let you all look over your tests, see what you got wrong, and we will have a retest next week." He explains.
I look over at Charlie, the smartest kid in the class and even he's shocked.
"Mr. Tanner, is there a way we can go over some of the questions in class on Monday? I'm a bit perplexed as to why some of these are wrong." Matt asks.
The class nods and mumbles in agreement.
Mr. Tanner thinks a moment and nods his head, "We can go over some on Monday. Have a good weekend."
The bell rings and we leave the classroom, all still shocked we failed.
I walk out of school and look over to see Chris talking to Cassidy.
What the fuck?
Chris giggles at something she says and she puts her hand on his shoulder.
I look away and decide to walk home alone.
Was he flirting with her?
No, no way. We're dating, he wouldn't do that.
Would he?
He has kind of popped off on TikTok lately, what if he's changed?
