Shane went on a trip. So, sadly, I was by myself. Yeah, Pandora would come visit me every now and then but, it's not the same as seeing Shane everyday. But, it's alright, he would call me a lot and we would facetime too.
"Aisha?" He says through the phone.
"Mhm." I responded.
"Pick a song, I wanna listen to something," I thought about it for a moment.
"Here with me, by d4vd. That's my favorite song,"
"No way, that's my favorite song too," He says shocked. I laugh.
"You're here with me," He says, his voice soft and soothing. I smile.
"Of course, and I always will be."
"Aisha, I have to go, I'll call you back, okay?" I nod as he hangs up. I smile once more, he makes me so happy.
I check my messages again to see a text from Pandora.
Pandora: "Oh my god! Noah texted me and we've been in touch a lot." She hasn't been texting other guys? This is a surprise.
Me: "You like Noah?"
Pandora: "Honestly, not really...He's a bit boring. But, I'll try to pull through with him." I laugh. Of course, she finds every guy boring after going out with them once.
Me: "Should we plan to do a double date?"
Pandora: "I'll see. I'm not sure if I even like him." I respond with a thumbs up and smile. Smiling was not a common thing for me, I was never happy. But, that's finally changed.
