The Centauran Wars.

Cetan First defense.

"Fix bayonet!" My officer yells. I feel someone grab my shoulder then my officer yells.

"The corvun beast come and try to take our land once more men! Hold your rifle close to you and muster your courage And Hold this line!!" He yells then whistles blow on our side.

I cock my rifle and look at the soldier next to me. He tries to look up and in that very second I watch him drop down blood splashes on the wall and his corpse makes a loud "thud" The chaos of the battle grows more and more then the machine guns begin to fire. You hear screams yelling and those dreaded gunshots. I run around the trench and look up the trench and fire.

A bullet whizzes past my face and I drop down holding my cheek. No blood.. thank God.

I hear crying coming from somewhere around me as someone yells in a trembling voice "NO...no. It wasn't supposed to be like this!" He says crying

"MAKE READY!" Someone yells.

"THEY'RE ALMOST HERE PREPARE YOURSELVES!" my officer yells

The sound of hundreds of boots running and the yelling of soldiers echoes through the trenches.

"OPEN FIRE!" MY officer yells and everyone begins to fire bullets whizz through all directions.

"Someone guard the eastern trench they're pushing in!" Someone yells.

Mack grabbed my shoulder and pushed me forward.

"Go kid Go! We can't let them pass!" He yells

I start running to the eastern side of the trench. As we run to it a barrage of gunfire hits us corvuns are trying to keep us away

I drop down and hide behind some crates. I watch as soldiers in front of me get riddled with bullets.

Red mist and blood fly around the area. I catch my breath and cock my gun and fire toward the corvuns blindly.

"Throwing grenade" Someone yells.

And in a few seconds, the corvuns explode.

"Push push push!" Mack yells as we run forward taking.

More and more corvuns push into our trench and then with a loud boom an artillery shell hits right next to me.

I drop down holding my ears as I yell In pain. A loud ringing echoes throughout my ears my ears feel like their burning and I try to get up but the pain hurts so bad.

Someone grabs my shoulder and pulls me up James runs to me and says something I see his mouth moving but I don't hear anything.

His face looks horrified his bleeding from his nose and looks on the verge of tears.

My hearing slowly comes back. The chaos of war fills me up again I look to my side a blood-curdling scream fills my ears.

I watch as 2 men run around burning then they throw themselves on the ground they keep screaming and screaming it feels like the whole world stopped. I watched them die slowly and then someone yells.

"FLAMETROOPER! FLANK EM"

I climb out of the trench alongside 9 other soldiers and run across the no man's land I drop down behind the flametrooper and shoot his tank.

He feels the shot and starts desperately taking off the tank. But it was too late for him.

The explosion wasn't a firey one. A pressurized explosion sent him flying forward and when he landed his spine was exposed. He was still alive he was mumbling something between groans as he crawled slowly. But then died after a few seconds.
