"Lou, do you think Neveah's okay?" Niall asked, rubbing his 9 month bump. "She's been up in her room all day."
"I'm sure she's fine, Ni," Louis assured. "She's probably just playing around."
"But she hasn't come down for breakfast or lunch. I want to see if she's okay."
"Babe, maybe she just needs some time alone. Maybe when your mum gets here, she can talk to Neveah. You know, girl talk."
"But she's only five."
"Still. Maybe only a girl will make her feel better," Louis said, putting some grapes and oranges on a plate and placing it in front of Niall. "Enjoy."
"Thanks, babe," Niall said, digging in. "But we're her parents. I want her to feel comfortable with us."
"This goes for everyone, not everything can be talked about to parents, Niall."
"If this has something to do with the new baby, I don't know what I'm gonna do."
"What do you mean?" Louis asked.
"I mean that I want both of our kids to be happy, but if one isn't, it kills me." Niall out his head in his hands, crying.
"It's perfectly fine to feel this way, hon. It'll get better. Once Neveah meets the baby, she'll be happy and love this baby."
Niall sniffled. "Okay. Just as long at they're both happy."
"They will be." Louis kissed Niall's forehead. "Now we have to go."
"Do you think Neveah will like school?" Niall asked, standing up.
"Yes she will. Kindergarten is such a fun year."
"It was fun for me."
"Me too."
"I guess I'll go start the car," Niall said, grabbing the keys.
"Okay." Niall went into the garage, getting in the car. He turned the ignition, but nothing happened.
"Hmm..." Niall questioned. He tried again. "That's weird."
He tried to turn the ignition again. Still nothing. "I just filled up the gas tank. We can't be out already."
He tried to turn it a last time. This time it made a noise, but it wasn't a car starting. It was the noise of something exploding. It came from the engine.
Niall yelped at the startling noise, backing away from the car. "What the hell was that?"
The door opened, Louis running out. "Babe, are you okay? I heard a loud noise."
"Yeah in fine. It was the car," Niall said, pointing to the engine.
"Alright, away from the car," Louis instructed, pulling Niall away. "Just in case there's deadly gases in there. It's bad for you and the baby."
"Alright alright." Niall backed away. "So how are we going to get to town?"
"We can take the bus." Louis led Niall inside.
A few minutes later, Maura showed up. Before Niall and Louis scurried out, Niall had a private talk with Neveah.
"Babe, is there a reason for you to be up here so much today?" He asked. She didn't say anything. "C'mon, love. Please talk to me."
"I want a sister," she mumbled.
"What was that?"
"I want a sister," she said a little louder.
"You do?"
"Yeah. I don't want a brother."
"Why?"
"Because girls are nicer. And I can play with the baby. I don't want to play with a boy."
"I see," Niall said. He held out his arms, signalling for a hug. "C'mere."
She hugged him. "I bet you'll have sister, baby girl."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Daddy and I have to go to town, but gramma is here to watch you."
"M'kay."
"I love you." He kissed the top of her head.
"I love you too."
Niall and Louis soon left for town, taking the bus. The entire ride there, Niall got weird stares from everyone. Louis got very defensive because of this.
When they got to the school administration, they signed Neveah up for kindergarten. They headed to a diner for lunch, then headed home.
Little did they know, the hot sauce Niall had consumed earlier put him into labour.
He sat on the bus seat, looking out the window, when his stomach started hurting. He began rubbing it, hoping to relive the pain. Nothing.
Eventually, he had a very big pain, releasing water from his lower region. "Oh no. Louis."
"Hmm?" Louis asked.
"My water broke. I can feel the baby's head," he said, trying not to be too loud.
"What?!" Louis yelled, frantic. "Holy shit."
"Louis! Please catch the baby!" He yelled. Luckily, there was a very nice lady in the bus who made blankets. She handed Louis a blanket in which he covered Niall's lower area with. Niall laid down in the floor of the bus, beginning to push.
There was nowhere for the bus to pull off, leaving Niall to give birth right on the floor of the bus. "Agh! Louis!"
"I've got the baby, babe. Its head is out," Louis said, focussing on his baby. Niall gave another good push, crying in pain.
"Oh dear god!" He yelled. He continued pushing, yelling out with every one.
Finally, he gave one last big push. Louis caught the baby in another blanket that the lady handed him. He carefully looked at the baby. "It's a girl, Niall."
Louis handed Niall the newborn, tears beginning to form in his eyes. "Hi, baby girl."
Niall continued to look at the baby as well as clean her and Louis watched.
Niall cringed as he felt similar pain. "Lou."
"Yes, love?" Louis asked, smiling fondly at the baby.
"Please take her. I have to push again," Niall said, handing the baby to him. Someone found some scissors in the first aid kit and Louis cut her umbilical cord.
The blanket lady took the baby, sitting next to the two boys. "Louis!"
"I'm here, babe. You can push," Loui said, preparing himself at Niall's bum. Niall pushed, grunting. "That's it. Here comes a head."
"I didn't know I was pregnant with twins!" He cried.
"Neither did I, but we have to adjust to it. It'll be just fine," Louis comforted. "Now push, Niall!"
Niall pushed again. Louis caught the baby. "It's another girl!"
Niall took the baby girl, looking at her lovingly. "I can't believe this. I also can't believe they didn't see both of them."
"Well, now we have them both here with us." Louis took his first baby girl from the lady. "Now we have a perfect family."
"And if I'm ever pregnant again, we aren't going anywhere at nine months. Neveah was born in an airplane and theses girls were born on a bus."
"Trust me, we don't have to go anywhere."
