Today was a beautiful morning. I woke up at 7:00 am to get ready for school. I put on my clothes which were a red long-sleeve top and a white skirt. I did my hair since it was long, thick, coarse hair.

I put my hair in a beautiful ponytail. I put my red rose on. I brushed and flossed my teeth. I put on the black butterfly earrings that Sadie(BFF/twin) gifted me five years ago. I put on my perfume. I put on my shoes and went downstairs for breakfast. It smelled delicious inside the kitchen. I sat at the table and continued to inhale the wonderful, delightful scent of blueberry pancakes in the blissful morning of dawn. I hear the birds singing and harmonizing together outside. I hear the sound of their melody, bringing joy, blissfulness, and happiness to the day. It is so beautiful that it is music to my ears. It makes me feel calm, relaxed, and sane. I think the feelings of happiness shower me as I sit at the table waiting for breakfast to be served. Mom and Dad peeked their heads and spotted me.

My parents' names are Raphael Mason and Tya Mason. Mom serves my plate which is two stacks of blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and blueberries on top with eggs and cantaloupe slices on the side.

After breakfast, I grabbed my phone and backpack.

Dad kisses Mom goodbye because he is going to work. He works at the bank at Delmar Park, where he works as the boss. Dad and I both headed out the door. I say bye to Dad and walk to school. As I was walking to school, my phone buzzed. I looked at it and it was a message from Sadie(BFF/Twin/soul sister).
Sadie Clark: Morning, girl. Where are you?
Raya Mason: Good morning, girl. I'm on the sidewalk walking to school, I'm on my way.
Sadie Clark: Okay. See you when you get here.
I turned my phone off and pressed the button. After waiting, I walked across the street and arrived at school. It was called Santana High School.

As I was walking, I saw my friends Sadie, Kailiah(Sadie's sister), and Samantha at the small quad.
¨Hey, girls¨, I said. I was really happy to see them.
The four of us gave each other a group hug.
¨How was your summer vacation?¨ Sadie asked.
¨It was amazing¨, I said.
My friends and I were talking about how our summer vacation was and what we did over break. It was 8:22 am. The bell rang. My friends and I walked to class together. We said bye to each other and went our separate ways to our classes. And it was Sadie(BFF/soul sister/twin) and I walking to Art 3 together. We went inside the classroom together and sat in our seats. We sat next to each other. Then suddenly there was a Jamaican guy that came to class. I was mesmerized by him as I saw him come in.
¨Girl, who's the new guy?¨, said Sadie.
I kept looking at him. It was like I was in a trance. He had a nice hairstyle, and his clothes had Jamaican colors on them. around his neck, he was wearing a tooth necklace that had a symbol on it. I didn't know what the symbol meant. It is as if I've seen it before in my memory about the goddess and a vampire prince having a soulmate connection. But I'm not sure if that memory is one of my memories. The new guy was very extraordinarily handsome as well as mysterious. I couldn't help but stare at him.
¨Raya, Raya, Raya¨, Sadie called.
I was awakened from my thoughts.
¨Yes, sorry, Sadie¨, I said.
¨Are you okay?¨ She asked.
¨Yeah, I'm fine, girl¨, I assured her.
It was now 8:30 am, and the bell rang for class to start.
¨Good morning, everyone¨, Mrs. Elliot said, ¨before we begin we have a new student named Usiku Moon who moved here from Jamaica.¨
¨Hi,¨Usiku said in his Jamaican accent.
¨Usiku, you're going to be sitting next to Raya¨, Mrs. Elliot said, ¨Raya, please raise your hand.
I raise my hand. Usiku looks in my direction, and I put my hand down. He smiles at me and I smile back at him. He sits next to me the entire class period.
