Chapter 11

Raya's point of view

It has been 2 weeks since Usiku and I hung out at the park after school and reunited as soulmates. And now I know who I was before I was reincarnated into a black African American human teenage girl. I introduced Usiku to my parents and I could tell he was nervous. He was especially anxious to meet my father. But yesterday last night when I invited Usiku to have dinner with my family my dad and Usiku talked and Dad grew to like Usiku. I was happy to see Usiku and my dad get along. Unlike my dad and my ex-boyfriend, Chirs. I kept my secret from my parents about myself being the reincarnated goddess, and Usiku and my soulmate love connection was also a secret from my parents. Today was Saturday and we were in my room working on our group art project and painting a portrait, and Usiku decided I should see his family again. 

"I want to introduce you to my family today properly'', Usiku said, "they have been wanting to meet you.''

I was surprised. Usiku's family truly wants to meet me.

"I will be more than happy to meet them'', I said.

Usiku smiled and I smiled back. 

"Don't worry my family will love you'', Usiku assured me.

I smiled at him and he smiled at me back. Thank you for assuring me Usiku. 

"I'll go ask my parents if I can meet your family'', I said.

"Alright'', Usiku said. 

I put my paintbrush down and went downstairs to ask my parents. Mom and Dad noticed me coming downstairs.

"Mom, Dad, Usiku is inviting me to his home to meet his family is it okay if I go?''I asked.

"Of course, baby'', Mom said.

"Sure, why not?''Dad said.

I smiled and said, "Thank you.''

I rushed upstairs to my room. I closed my room door behind me and looked at my beloved soulmate Usiku. He looked at me back.

"My parents said yes'', I said. 

"Great'', Usiku said.

After finishing our group painting portrait project, Usiku and I went downstairs to leave. I wore my brown winter boots and said goodbye to Mom and Dad. And they said goodbye to Usiku and me. We are now outside and Usiku looks around to ensure the cost is clear. He carried me bridal style and we flew to Usiku's house. I saw the birds flying together as Usiku was carrying me and flying with his power of flight. I saw how free the birds were and imagined what it would be like to fly. I saw the clouds in the beautiful blue sky. The clouds up close look as puffy as my afro hair. I put my hand in the air and touched the clouds and surprisingly they were as soft as ever.

"How are you liking the sky, baby girl?''Usiku asked.

"Oh, it's so beautiful'', I said.

"You're beautiful'', He said.

I blushed. My checks are turned in a black cherry red color. We now arrived at Usiku's house. As I was looking at his home which is a mansion, I was surprised at how big it looked. And it was so amazing. I couldn't believe my eyes. 

Usiku's point of view

And now that she knows who she was before she was reincarnated into a black African American human teenage girl. Raya introduced me to her parents and I know she could tell that I was nervous and frankly, I was nervous. I wanted to make a good first impression. And I was especially anxious to meet her father Mr. Rapheal Mason. I could hear his loud, intrusive thoughts and that he is very protective of Raya like any father is with his daughter. And I could tell that he wanted to kick my ass when I was having dinner with her parents. But yesterday last night when Raya invited me to have dinner with her family her dad and I talked and Her dad grew to like me. Raya was happy to see Usiku and her dad get along. Raya didn't mention her parents about our soulmate connection. Today was Saturday and we were in my room working on our group art project and painting a portrait, and an idea popped into my head I should invite Raya to my house so she can meet my family.
