After school, it was raining outside. I was happy it was raining because I love the rain. I even dance in the rain whenever I walk to class. My friends Sadie and Kaliah asked me if they wanted to walk home from school together. But I just said no thank you. I told them I was going to head to the library after school. My friends agreed and the two of them hugged me and I hugged them back.
"Are you gonna be okay, girl?''Sadie asked.
"Don't worry, I'll be alright'', I said, "I just need time for solitude and to calm my mind.''
"Okay,'' Kaliah said, "bye, girl.''
"Bye,'' I said.
"See you tomorrow, girl'', Sadie said.
I headed to the library. The two librarians Mrs. Bocmen and Mrs. Winslow looked at me and smiled at me and said, "Hello, there.''
"Hi'', I said. I smiled at both of them.
I sat in the comfy area and read my book called Aristotle and Dante to discover the secrets of the universe. This book is based on the gay love between two boys named Aristotle and Dante.

After reading in the library, I decided to walk home. I said goodbye to Mrs. Bocmon and Mrs. Winslow who are super nice and they said goodbye to me back. I was finally outside. I had my black coat on and my black high heels boots on.

The smell of the rain was amazing. The sound of the rain is music to my ears even the crash and burn sound of thunder was so intriguing and electrifying that I was so overjoyed with the sensation of the rain touching my beautiful brown skin. I began to dance in the rain and twirl around without wearing my hoodie feeling the vibe and energy it was giving out as I was outside.
Suddenly I felt a familiar presence.
"Hi, Raya'', A voice said. I turned around and was shocked to see that it was Usiku.
"Oh, hi, Usiku'', I said.
"I saw you dancing in the rain'', He said, "was it fun?''
"Yes, it was'', I said.
"Would you like me to walk you home?'' He asked.
Usiku was being a gentleman. It's very kind of him to ask me this question.
"No thank you, I'm sure I can walk home on my own", I said.
"You're an Independent woman I like that, but there are predators and crooks out there and I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you'', Usiku said.
What he said made me blush. His choices of words are so intriguing that I can barely contain my excitement. I finally gave in and let him walk me home. Usiku shares his umbrella with me and we walk in the rain together.
"Where do you live?''Usiku asked.
"In Rosie Lane.''
"That's not too far'', He said.
"So how was your day today?''Usiku asked.
"It was good", I said, "how was yours?''
"My day was good,'' He said.
We continued to talk as we were walking home from school together. It was nice having him for company. Usiku is a wonderful guy. His energy tells me he is genuine, authentic, and intriguing but also wonderful to be around. I could still feel the attachment between us. Our energies sync with each other. And it so electrifying.
"I'm sorry about walking away from you yesterday when you asked about the color of my eyes'', he said.
Did he just apologize to me for storming off yesterday and leaving with questions in my mind I've been answering?
"It's alright, I forgive you'', I said.
Usiku smiles at me and I smile back at him.
"Thank you for walking me home, Usiku'', I said, "I appreciate it.''
"You're welcome'', Usiku said.
I went to Usiku and hugged him wrapped his arms around me and hugged me. We release each other from the hug.
"Raya, I was thinking would you like to hang out with me sometime?''Usiku asked genuinely.
I smiled.
"Yes, I would love to'', I said.
"Okay, well bye see you tomorrow", He said.
"Bye'', I said.
I watched him walk home. I felt excitement inside my body and it was so electrifying that I couldn't contain myself. I smiled to myself and went inside the house with my thoughts about Usiku.
Usiku's point of view
I walked home and smiled to myself and gave myself victory because she said yes to hanging out with me. I indeed wanted to pursue her but I didn't want to rush things with her given that she was in her human form and still processing the memories of us from 3,000 years ago. And then when it comes time to confess my love for her I will be ready and I can tell her who she was from her past life 3,000 years ago and how we've known each other from another life and how we became soulmates and we loved each other. I want to take things slow with Raya. I know she would want to take things slow too. And when the time is right I will be ready to tell her the truth about who she was 3,000 years ago and help her remember our soulmate love. I stopped where I was and looked around my surroundings to make sure no one saw me. I levitated from the ground using my power of flight and flew back home. I was thinking about Raya as was flying home. And planning on how to tell her the truth and help her regain her memories from 3,000 years ago.
