Sarah's POV

It was a Monday morning. I woke up exhausted. I had college today so I got ready, wearing a casual outfit. I had my breakfast with my parents and left for college. I am going to meet Dhruv and Naina directly at college. I reached college and met them. Naina and I headed towards our class while Dhruv went to his.

After our lectures we went to the canteen and waited there for Dhruv. While we were waiting, an announcement was made. It was about an excursion to Darjeeling for a week.
Dhruv came after a while and we talked about the excursion. We were very excited about it and we decided what fun we are going to do.

(2 weeks later)

It was finally time for the excursion. I was happy and excited at the same time. I had my suitcase ready. I bid goodbye to my parents and left for the airport. I wore a baggy outfit for a comfortable airplane journey.

I met Dhruv, Naina, my other college-mates and some professors over there. It was time for boarding, so without wasting any time we boarded our flight.

It was 3pm already and we reached our hotel somewhat 20 mins back. We all went to our rooms to freshen up. Naina and I were sharing a room together. I told her about the whole "kissing incident" at the house party and also about the "stargazing incident" at the business party. I hadn't told her about it before as I was not so sure but after the house party, Naman started to maintain distance from me and never looked at me once. Was my feelings about Akshat being jealous right? I was confused so I thought of sharing it with Naina, afterall she's my bestfriend.

"Bro, I think Akshat definitely has something for you. I mean, look uss din house party mein bhi you could sense the feelings in his eyes and about the business party thing, I've always heard that he maintains distance from girls and doesn't give a fuck about anyone.", Naina said after I narrated the whole incident to her.

"Yeah but how can a guy like Akshat possibly fall for me. I'm not even his type. He deserves better you know.", I replied back while walking towards the bed where she was laying. While we were talking, Dhruv interrupted us, barging into our room and moving straight towards the bed to lay down.

"Tum ladkiya bhi na kitna time lagati ho ready hone mein. Mujhe dekho kabse taiyaar hoke betha hu. Jaldi chalo sab wait kar rhe hai.", Dhruv mocked us and we glared at him.

"Ab hum ladkiya hygiene maintain krti haina toh thoda time lag jaata hai. Ladke toh bas yuhi muh utha ke aajate hai.", I said while zipping my suitcase.

Dhruv and I quarreled for a few more minutes until Naina stopped us saying that we're already late. We packed up everything and left the room. We had our food and all of us were sitting outside in bonfire making a circle. Dhruv and Naina were busy talking while I went towards the poolside for some fresh air.

I sensed a presence behind me and turned around to see Reyansh Shekhawat standing there. I've known him since school time. He was my batchmate and he always stared at me with weird expressions but I always ignored him.

"Hey Sarah. I, um, wanted to talk to you, if you're free?", he asked me while coming towards me.

"Yeah sure whats up?", I asked him maintaining distance between us.

"Actually the thing is that I like you since we were in 10th standard and I don't know if you have noticed it or not, but yeah. I'd really like you to become my girlfriend.", he spoke out the words looking directly into my eyes and I was a bit shocked. I always knew he was upto something, but I didn't knew what it exactly was.

"Reyansh, I don't feel the same way for you.", I said while walking back towards the gate.

While I was walking towards the gate he ran behind me and held my hand tightly making me groan in pain.

"Leave my hand right now, Reyansh.", I shouted at the top of my lungs trying to release his hold from my hand but instead he held them more tightly.

"I'm not going to leave you before I make you mine. It's been my dream to be with you and I'll fulfill it.", he said in a harsh tone and dragged me out of the hotel from the back gate. I screamed for help but no one was there and all our friends, professors were on the opposite side of the hotel.

He didn't leave my hand all along and took me to some other hotel nearby. We were in the poolside and he left my hand. I tried to run away but he pinned me against the wall trying to kiss me. I pushed him away and he fell. I tried to run away again but this time I tripped onto something and fell on my knees. I cried for help and tried my best to push that bastard away from me.

Akshat's POV

I am in Darjeeling currently as some urgent work came up. I was sitting in my room thinking about Sarah. The day she hugged me, I felt butterflies in my stomach. The day I saw her for the first time, it was like my life lit up. She is my Sunshine. She is the Sunshine, in my dark world.

I was lost in her thoughts when Rudra called me. This bitch. I picked up his call while rolling my eyes. There was no signal in my room, so I went outside walking towards the poolside. I was only a few steps away from the pool, when I heard a voice shouting out for help and I recognised it within a fraction of seconds. It was her, my Sunshine. She was shouting out for help. I cut the call telling Rudra that I'm busy and ran towards the pool.

I saw her pinned against the wall and a guy was standing infront of her forcing himself on her. My eyes became red with anger as soon as I saw the view. I rushed towards them and pulled the guy away from Sunshine.

I punched him so hard that he fell on the ground. I noticed Sarah sobbing and asked her to wait for me in the corridor.
I held him by his collar and punched him again so hard that the next moment he was lying in the swimming pool.

"No one gets to force or go near my Sunshine. Get that in your fucking head. Next time, I see you getting close to her again and you'll regret your birth.", I shouted out loud and rushed towards Sarah.
