Sarah's POV

I changed into my clothes and Aksh dropped me to the hotel in which I was staying. Dhruv and Naina thanked him for taking care of me and he left.

"So what exactly happened, Sarah? How did you both meet?", Dhruv asked me while we were walking towards our room and both of them kept staring at me.

"Voh actually, Reyaansh confessed to me but I rejected him. And in anger he took me to other hotel and was trying to force himself on me but luckily Aksh ca- Akshat came there.", I replied to them and walked inside the bathroom refusing to hear anything.

"Thank god, they didn't notice me calling him Aksh.", I told myself and huffed.

I freshened up and went out. They both were sitting on the bed, little did I know they were waiting for me with a lot of questions.

"What exactly happened between you and Akshat? Or should we say your Aksh?," they both said together and giggled.

"I- what? nothing happened between us. And his name is Akshat.", I said to them, remembering the forehead kiss.

"Sarah, why are you blushing?", Naina asked while raising an eyebrow.

"Uh, nothing, I'm not blushing, you stupid.", I replied and started walking towards the mirror while both of the chipmunks giggled.

We were at the dining table waiting for our breakfast to be served. Naina was sitting to my right, between me and Dhruv and to my left, was Naman. I couldn't even look straight into Naman's eyes after what happend between his brother and me.

I don't know what this feeling of mine towards Akshat was, but it was one which I never felt towards anyone. I tried my best not to think about it but the feeling of being at home around him was messing up with my mind. The fact that I was not his type made me think about him less but still it wasn't enough.

"Sarah", I heard Naman calling me.

"Yeah?"

"Bhai told me to give this to you.", he said with disappointment on his face, handing me a small note.

"Uh, thanks. What is it?", I asked him confusingly.

"I have no idea." he said turning back to his friends.

I turned to Naina and Dhruv already looking at me, eager to know what is written in the paper.

"Meet me at the poolside after dinner."
- Your Aksh

I read it out loud for Naina and Dhruv to hear it and all us were confused. None of us had any idea what was this for.

"Well to know what this is about, I have to meet him.", I exclaimed.

They both nodded.

After having our breakfast and changing our outfits, we were called by our professors as we were going to visit the Mahakal temple today. All of us were dressed in traditionals.

Naina and I matched our outfits. We were wearing a simple white kurti with matching jhumkas and a pair of white heels.

We headed towards the temple and it was mesmerizing. I felt peace near Mahadev. Well, I believe in fate, destiny, love and God. I worshipped Mahadev since I was a little child and have visited almost every single Mahakal temple in India. I have a bucket list goal of visiting every Mahadev temple in the world.

I clicked a few pictures and we attended the aarti. There was a huge crowd as it was a very famous temple. Amidst the crowd, I spotted a known figure. Akshat. He was here. I didn't ever thought that he believes in God but seeing this sight of him, I think he does believe in God. That makes him even more attractive as if his looks and personality wasn't enough.

He probably hasn't noticed me yet in the crowd. I didn't realise that I was staring at him until our eyes met. He gave me a genuine smile and looked away. What just happened? Did I just witness Akshat Singhania smiling? I've never seen him smile once, not even smirk or giggle.

I removed my focus from him, concentrating on the aarti. The aarti finished and everybody made two lines for taking Prasad. I was standing in the first line minding my business when someone's shoulder brushed against mine with force while he was passing, making my shoulder pain.

"Hey, watch where you're going. Andhe ho kya? Mujhe maarte hue jaa rhe ho!", I shouted at him brushing my shoulder with my hand.

"Sorry ma'am, I was making sure my boss is ok."

"Please, inform your boss that he is in a mandir right now and idhar unko bodyguards ki zarurat nahi hai.", I said to him, annoyed and made my way towards the front.

After taking the Prasad and making a wish, I went near the pond. I was admiring the fishes and lotus in the pond when someone took my hand, and led me to the side. We stood by a tall wall with my back facing it. I looked up to see Akshat Singhania standing infront of me, caging me with his hands.

"I'll make sure I don't take my bodyguards with me, next time I'm visiting a temple, sweetheart." he whispered in my ears.

And then the realisation struck. It was him. The "boss" was him. Oh no.

I was too stunned to speak anything. I looked down the whole time fidgeting my hands.

"Eyes on me, Sunshine.", he said to me and unknowingly my eyes met his eyes.
Our face was inches away.

"Those hazel brown eyes of yours will be the death of me someday.", he said while holding my chin.

"Akshat, my friends might be looking for me. I have to go.", I said to him ignoring his comment but he didn't move.

"Kiss me and I'll let you go.", he said and winked at me. My eyes widened as soon as I heard it.

"Okay fine. I'll do it.", I said and his hands went to my waist. He closed his eyes, making me realise that he was expecting a kiss on the lips but instead I kissed him on the cheek.

I was going to run away when he held my wrist.

"This is cheating, Sunshine.", he pointed out but I laughed and shrugged. I left his hold and turned around.

"Bye Aksh."

With that I went towards Dhruv, Naina and others.
