Meetings, vegas hated them but he knows they were inevitable, but never had he ever wished to get his ass out of a meeting like he wishes to do now, in the Theerapanyakuls mansion, sitting in the big conference room surrounded by some of their clients, parasites and kinn.

After the Italians cancelled their deal, Vegas knew that their other clients and partners would start getting doubts, which explains the chaos in the room, everyone was screaming and giving arguments, some were defending Vegas and the Theerapanyakul, others were spewing some bullshit he couldn't care less about, "Shut the fuck up!" He screamed running out of patience, everyone stopped talking and their attention was now on Vegas who stood up and ever so silently placed his gun on the table, "Listen very carefully, I'm gonna say this one time, If you have the slightest bit of doubt in the Theerapanyakuls, you have 5 seconds to get out of that door, never to return again, I do not have time for cowards, and traitors,"

Vegas's tone was firm and fearless, the room went completely silent and one of the men started mumbling some shit as he stood to leave along with 4 others, "Is there anything you would like to say before leaving Gustav?" Vegas said with a smirk as he went back to his seat, the said man turned around facing him with obvious fake confidence, "I think I speak for all of us when I say that you will never be nearly as great as your father was, you are weak, you have a son and now you're already getting distracted by some bitch, that's too many weaknesses vegas, and I refuse to risk my business any longer,"

he finished talking and Vegas was held together with a very thin string, but he only smiled and leaned on his chair "Thank you for sharing your opinion, you can leave now," once the 5 men left the room, Kinn signed his bodyguards and they left the room right after, and 3 seconds later the sound of 5 gunshots echoed through the room, vegas took a sip of his whiskey and looked at the terrified looking faces of the men, "never to return. Anyone else has anything to say?" But he was only met with utter silence, "Good," he stood up and left the room with turmoil in his head and one question '𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘦???'

Pete was cleaning the classroom after the children went to eat lunch. His phone rang and he was taken aback by the caller's name, vegas hadn't texted him nor did he reply to his message all day and all of a sudden he was calling him, "Hy," "hello, sorry I didn't text you back I had a long meeting and I just got out of it," vegas explained, "it's alright, I was just getting worried since you never call so I thought something happened," "I just called to check on you and Venice, everything is okay with you right?," vegas tried to keep his tone as normal as possible as to not scare Pete, "yeah everything is okay, Venice is having lunch with other kids as we speak," Vegas let out a breath of relief unwillingly and Pete couldn't help but feel uneasy, "why? did something happen vegas?" "No no, I just...I'm always worried about Venice so I just wanted to check, anyway I'll come to pick you guys up myself okay, see you" "Okay, see you later".

Vegas hung up and threw his phone on the table feeling a bit relieved, he was sitting with Kinn in the living room, "Maybe he was just lying, I mean how tf would he know about Pete?" "I don't know kinn, I fucking don't know but all I know is that if someone touches one hair on him or Venice things are gonna get ugly," Vegas said with all the seriousness in the world, "we can't afford that now vegas, you have to keep your anger under control, at least for now," "You talk as if you wouldn't do the same for Porsche" "he's my boyfriend vegas, I love him," "exactly."

Kinn raised his eyebrows and sat straight, "excuse me?" "I'm in love with Pete, kinn." Kinn was expecting to hear some kind of mocking or sarcasm in Vegas's voice, but his tone was clear from all of that, so was his facial expression, "Holly shit, you're serious?" "Dead," Vegas said and leaned backwards resting his head against the sofa, "Well, did you tell him?" "No, I never got the chance, and..." he paused staring at the wall for a few seconds, "...I'm scared."
