Few days later~

Pete went back to work after he got to rest for a few days with Venice and Vegas who also decided to take some days off to stay with them. They arrived at the centre and Pete was looking nervous which caught Vegas's attention, "what is it?" "I- what if I lose my job vegas, what if people start judging me I mean, it's not professional to date a parent everyone knows that," Pete was talking too fast so Vegas grabbed his face with one hand and turned it to face him, "Hey, stop overthinking, what did I say about your job? No one will take it from you as long as I'm alive, and what if people judge?? I don't care about anyone but you and Venice so if anyone has any complaints they can put them up their ass, we're not doing anything illegal, we are in love, do you understand?"

Pete nodded with his cheeks squished between Vegas's fingers and the latter leaned forward and kissed him firmly, "That's my boy, if anything happens I'm one call away," "Okay, thank you," "One more thing, I won't be able to pick you up today since I have a lot of meetings and nop will be busy with me as well, so Porsche-" "oh no no need to bother him I'll just ask Macau for a ride," "okay then, I'll see you guys later," he turned around to check on Venice, "be a good boy okay?" "Okay Daddy," Pete got Venice and went inside,

"They just left the car sir" " Keep an eye on them, and don't fuck it up this time, today we finish what we started," "Okay si."

During the lunch break, Pete went outside to sit alone and clear his mind a bit but only a few moments later Macau joined him, "May I?" He asked pointing at the chair next to him, "yeah sure go ahead," he gave him some iced tea and they sat together quietly for a while, "ehm I actually want to ask you something since you're Vegas's husband and stuff," Pete's cheeks turned red and he tried to act normal, "go on," "did he set any strict dating rules for his assistants and bodyguards?" "Huh? I don't think so, I mean it'd be weird honestly, why is this about nop?" Macau got startled, "I- how did you know!" "I saw you two sneaking around, you guys look cute together not gonna lie, it's a shame you are hiding it," "We're not hiding it we're just being careful," Pete nodded understanding, "mm I understand," "speaking of which, did you know that you're the centre's hot topic these days??" Pete rolled his eyes a little and sighed, "Of course I know that! That's why I'm hiding here, I don't want to deal with that now I have a lot on my plate already," "Okay I won't talk about it sorry, but let me just say that Jolene looked sooo pissed, it was so satisfying," "shut up, let's just go back,"

Later in the afternoon vegas had a few minutes in his hand before the next meeting so he decided to call Pete and check on him and Venice, "Hy babe," pete answered sounding busy, "Hy, I'm just calling to check  is everything okay?" "Yeah everything is good, I'm packing my things and we're going home," "I have one meeting left and I'll leave then, can't wait to hug you, I had the longest day," Pete smiled a little, "me too, I'll see you later, love you," "love you too," he said and hung up, "if you're done loving your boyfriend let's go, I want to love mine too," Macau called for him as he stood by the door, "I'm coming, let's go ven," he took the little boy's hand and they headed to Macau's car, he put Venice in the backseat and Macau went to the driver's seat, "shit I forgot Venice's bag, I'll be right back," Pete said and ran back to the centre, "your papa is so clumsy did you know that?" "No! Papa is cute," Venice protested and Macau laughed at the adorable boy,
But the next second two men approached the car and opened the doors but before Macau could react he felt a sharp object entering his arm and everything went dark.

Pete returned to the parking lot but the car was empty of the two, he got confused and tried to call Macau but his phone was still in the car as well as all his belongings, Pete's anxiety started rising as he went searching for them around the centre but he found no trace of them, he went back to the car hoping that maybe they returned but it was still empty, that's when Pete could hear his heart beating so loudly in his ears and he got his phone to call vegas but instead he received a location message from an anonymous number,

Vegas was sitting in his office with Kinn and Nop when he received a message from an unknown number, it was a location but there was no explanation whatsoever, "The fuck," "What?" Kinn asked, "Someone just sent me a location," just as he finished the sentence Pete's call entered so he picked up, "h-" "Vegas I can't find Venice," Pete's highly distressed voice entered Vegas's heart like a knife, and it was evident to everyone in the room, "Khun vegas?" "What happened vegas?" "W-what do you mean you can't find him," the two other guys got alerted too and were now fully focused on the conversation, "He was with Macau in the car and I went to get his bag but when I came back the car doors were open and he's gone, they're both gone, I don't know what to do vegas I'm so scared,"

Nop stood up at the mention of Macau's name and he was fighting everything in him not to overreact, "Did you check the building?" Vegas asked as he searched for his car keys, "Yes I did but I couldn't find them, they disappeared, I- I also received a message," Vegas stopped looking at Kinn, "What message?" "It's a location, but I don't know what that means, I don't know what's going on vegas," all the 3 men understood the situation immediately, "that fucking bitch! He's dead he's so fucking dead," "Who? Is it Time? Did he take them? Did he send the location?" Pete asked with a very evident panic in his voice, "Listen to me Pete, don't do anything stupid do you hear me, I will come to get you right now, do not move," Pete didn't answer cause he already decided what to do, "Pete?" Vegas knew, "I'll see you there," he hung up and got in the car, "FUUUUUUUUCK!" Vegas screamed and Nop did the same but from the inside, "Kinn," "I got you, just go get him," "I'll go get the car," Nop said and ran outside,

Pete was driving with difficulty since his whole body was shaking from anger and pure fear, how could he let this happen, he should've protected him he should've been more aware of his surroundings, vegas called him again and he picked up, "Pete, where are you?" "I'm almost there," "Okay now listen to me, do not do anything until I come, find a place to hide and wait for me do you understand??" "Bu-" "Pete please, please listen to me, I will lose my mind if anything happens to you please baby, we will get Venice I promise you just have to trust me and wait for me," Pete almost didn't recognise vegas's voice, his tone carried too many emotions but this time fear was the dominant one, "Okay, I will wait for you," "I will see you soon, I love you," "I love you too."

As the strong daylight started creeping back to his eyes, Macau was getting back his consciousness little by little, but even then he knew that something was terribly wrong, and the moment he became aware of his surroundings he found himself tied in a car next to Venice who was crying loudly in fear, he tried to free himself but his body was still numb, "It's alright Venice it's alright sweetie I'm here, fucking hell," he looked outside the window and the place looked empty but from few men in black here and there, and he realised that if he doesn't get them out of that car, they will not see the daylight ever again.
