8 Years later…
Sunoo sighs as he flips through the pages of the thick history book he was reading. For the past few months he has been only studying without a break, even his teachers became more strict compared to when he was young.
“Ah.. seriously this is driving me crazy!” He exclaims wanting his history lesson to be over already.
Ever since he turned ten years old everything started to change around him, especially his studies, and other lessons became tougher for him.
The biggest change that happened to him was that he was constantly reminded that he had to be absolutely perfect and without any flaws, he was tired of having his only life goal as becoming the Spouse of a foreign prince.
Sometimes he just wished to escape from all of these responsibilities and burdens and go back to his childhood when he was allowed to be careless, to be chaotic and most importantly when he was allowed to be genuinely happy.
His thoughts were cut off as he heard a knock on the door, he fixed his posture before allowing the person to enter “yes?”
“Your highness, the crown prince was looking for you, he asked if you could visit him in his chambers." It was one of the maids from the main palace where his brother lived with their father, while he lived in the Queen’s palace with their mother.
“Inform him that I'll see him shortly after my history lesson ends.” The maid nodded, bowing her way out of the room.
Sunoo’s eyes moved to the wall where the large clock was hanging, a smile appeared on his face since only a few more minutes were left before he could leave. He closed the book pages getting up from his study table placing the book back in its original place on the book shelf.
He made his way to the huge window present in the study room, standing next to it while the cold breeze caressed his face. The door to his study room opened as a familiar face walked in “you seem to be in a good mood, your highness.”
Sunoo turned on his feet immediately after hearing the familiar voice “Hyung asked to see me after a long time of course, I am in a good mood!.”
The unknown man nodded as he placed a bundle of papers on his personal study table placed opposite to Sunoo's “that's good, you seemed really down for the past few days, I was starting to get worried, but I guess now everything would be alright.”
Sunoo blushed slightly as his ears turning red shaking his head in denial “of course not teacher! I wasn't feeling down.. I was just busy with studies ~” he rolled his eyes shaking his hands as he slightly stepped back.
His teacher chuckled, “Sure, your highness.” as he finally finished arranging the bundle of paper “The class is over for today.”
Sunoo's eyes lit up as he grinned widely “Thank you teacher!” With that he rushed out of the study room without waiting for his teacher's reply. His teacher scoffed, shaking his head "didn't feel down, he said."
