The Sins of Toonville [AU]

Chapter 1: The News

Danno's POV: I was watching the news with Riggy on the couch in Toonville. It was typical news things like weather, a few ads here and there, Riggy's 300th theft case in a row, y'know all that jazz. 

Riggy looked bored to death, and he seemed like he was about to fall asleep. Then of course, his little blue ass started to whine.

Riggy: "Ugh, this is BORRING! Can we watch something else?"

Danno: "*sigh* I have to watch the news to know what's going on, Toonville's a highly dangerous place you know."

Riggy: "Then why did you move here then!?"

Danno: "*sigh* Riggy, I told you, I've been really struggling to make money on YouTube, and I can't afford to live in California anymore..."

Riggy: "Well that's your fault for being such a boring bi-"

Danno: "DON'T PUSH IT..."

I saw Riggy break a sweat, and he went quiet. But before long, he jumped on me, trying to take the remote from me.

Riggy: "I WANT TO WATCH NICKELODEON!!!!"

Danno: "NO YOU CAN'T, GIVE ME THAT BACK!!"

Me and Riggy tugged on the remote, with the channels flipping as we were fighting over it. I eventually snatched the remote back, and turned back on the Toon News channel. However, the news story The News Reporter presented threw both me and Riggy off.

News Reporter: "There have been strange cases recently of mysterious portals opening and closing, with creatures even coming out of them disguised as the townspeople. So we highly advise you to stay in your homes until further notice."

Riggy: "Aw sweet! A new Nick sitcom!"

Danno: "Riggy, that's not a sitcom. That's something thats actually happening. And plus this is why I make you watch the news with me, because you think everything's a TV show-"

Riggy: "Getting popcorn from the store now, see ya' later loser!" *door slams shut*

That's when I started to freak out. This was something that's serious, and of course Riggy treats it like it's a joke. I was not surprised, but I was still worried. He can get hurt by the creatures coming out of the portals. But he's a cartoon, so he can't really die.

But then I remembered he can only die in Toonville. So that's when I started to freak out again.

I hope he comes back home safe.
