Chapter 3: Hellspawn Child...?

Rosey's POV: I was making breakfast for Licorish and Storm. I was still thinking about how there's creatures coming out of those portals, and how I saw my ex boyfriend (Riggy) dash away from them. 

I was secretly hoping that they would've hurt Riggy, since I'm still pissed at what he'd done to me before the breakup. Maybe if he didn't do that, maybe I would've actually had help from him to raise the kids. But then again, he never really CARED about Storm, and only cared about Licorish. 

But I'm getting off track. Anyway, I turned on the news, and it was an update about the mysterious portals that were popping up in Toonville.

News Reporter: "We have an update to the portal situation. The portals seem to lead to Hell. Yes, you heard that right, Hell itself. The creatures coming out are actually demons, so if you see someone that has demon-like traits that seem biological, have a red aura around them, or both, we highly advise you to put them in a nearby red portal, since they can potentially be highly dangerous."

I was shook. DEMONS!?! IN TOONVILLE ITSELF!?! WHY THAT OF ALL PLACES!?! Then, Licorish got up, and started floating. She always floated like that to move, with a red aura. It always freaked me out.

Licorish: "Bye mom, see you later. Going to Hot Topic with Cloudy now."

Rosey: "Oh uh... okay..!"

When she left the house, I started to have a speculation. Is Licorish... A DEMON IN DISGUISE??? No, that can't be it. I mean, she was a seal all her life. 

But then again, she also always floated with a red aura around her. And in her room, she always wanted upside down pentagrams. I would tell her no, and then her hands would start to grow and her eyes would get wider since she was upset.

And I recall out of fear drawing the pentagrams on her room, then she would be happy again. She STILL has upside down pentagrams in her room, along with a bunch of gothic stuff

But I just brushed it off, since I thought maybe she's just being edgy. I mean, she is 16 in high school. But I know some people who never gone out of there edgy phase, like Luna's partner

Then I continued going about my day, trying to figure out my revenge for Riggy.

Author's Note: Licorish calls Storm "Cloudy" sometimes. Just getting that out there in case someone thought it was a new OC.
